Meet The New Lara Croft
Alison Carroll was unveiled to the world as the new Lara Croft at a press conference in London, England on Monday morning (August 11.
The 23 year old British gymnast will now travel the world to promote the new Tomb Raider: Underworld game which is due for release later this year.
Carroll told The Sun that she is “single and having fun, I’m not looking for a long-term relationship as most men can’t keep up with me. But playing Lara Croft, the sexiest game heroine there is, should get me a few more dates!”

Jolie makes a better Lara Croft. I don’t know how anyone can get past her image of Lara Croft to embrace this woman in the same role. Angelina was kick ass, knew how to handle a gun and fought like she meant it. I don’t know what to say about Carroll, she is just …blah I guess is the word. Her face is expressionless. She doesn’t look like she could have beaten me up when I was in the fifth grade. Jennifer Garner would have made a better Lara Croft than Carroll. I guess they’re going for younger women. Doesn’t mean they can do the job.
