Anne Hathaway put on a cute dress as she made her way to the Venice Film Vestival on Wednesday (September 3) to attend a photocall for her latest movie, Rachel Getting Married.

The 25-year-old actress was spotted arriving by water taxi to the Westin Excelsior hotel in Venice, Italy.

Vanity Fair magazine are reporting that Hathaway broke up with her ex-boyfriend Rafaello Follieri hours before he was arrested for wire fraud and money laundering.

She allegedly called him on June 23 and said “You were the love of my life, ‘ll always love you. You know that, baby.”

The magazine also report that Hathaway paid Follieri’s $37,000 monthly rent for his apartment in the Olympic Towers in New York City for four months.

Hathaway’s father who had a private investigator check up on Follieri says “I regard my involvement in the situation … as fundamentally a private matter between a daughter and her father,”
