Kate Walsh was all smiles as she attended the release party for the Private Practice: The Complete First Season DVD on Tuesday night (September 2) in Hollywood, CA.

Grey’s Anatomy creator and producers Shonda Rhimes hinted that Walsh’s character Addison maybe return back to grey’s Anatomy for an episode sometime this season.

She says “I don’t know if it’s going to work with the story, and we don’t want her to come back for a visit if it doesn’t feel important, something only Addison can do. But the idea is on the table.”

Private Practice returns to ABC on October 1 at 9PM ET/PT and the first season will be release on dvd on September 16
