So did you all watch the 2008 Video Music Awards last night?

We did and our highlights were Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and thats about it really.

So tell us your thoughts on Jordin Sparks little rant over purity rings (earlier in the night, host Russell Brand made a joke about the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings).

Jordin didn’t take it lightly and had to share her thoughts, she said “I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring, because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut.”

Later in the evening, Brand apologized and said “I don’t want to piss off teenage fans. Promise rings, I’m well up for it. But a bit of sex, it never hurt anybody.”
