Fresh from the 2008 Fashion Rocks ceremony, it was time for Justin Timberlake to debut his William Rast fashion line as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2009 in New York City on Sunday (September 7)

Justin and his friend/fellow designer Trace Ayala posed for pictures on the red carpet before the show got under way.

On his inspiration for the line he says “it’s a lot of stuff, but old Tennessee, new Tennessee — mostly Tennessee.”

The 27-year-old singer added that he doesn’t want to be known as just Mr. Sexy Back saying, “I don’t want to be known for just one thing, maybe that’s why I do so many things.”
