Nip/Tuck Wants A Raise

The stars of Nip/Tuck are seeking a hefty raise in their checks for the shows sixth and final season of the hit show.

The Hollywood Reporter claim that Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh who both play plastic surgeons on the FX show are hoping to get around $250,000 per episode, which is quite a raise from the $125,000 they made last year.

The show went into production on Monday (September 15) but behind the scenes things aren’t going so smoothly as the cast, which also includes Joely Richardson, Kelly Carlson and Roma Maffia, have hired top notch lawyers to help in negotiations.

The Reporter says that “a main argument for the “Nip/Tuck” stars is that while they will be available for other jobs, with the show slated to end its run in 2011, other networks might be reluctant to cast them in new roles while their “Nip/Tuck” characters still appear on FX.”

More than likely they will receive the extra money in a bonus check.
