Leighton Meester attends the 15th annual “Shop Til It Stops” on Thursday (October 2) at Union Square in New York City.

The 22-year-old Gossip Girl actress appeared on The Morning Show with Mike & Juliet on Thursday and she denied she gave an interview to UsWeekly, click here for the magazine cover.

She says, “there wasn’t an interview, people keep on asking me, ‘What made you talk exclusively?’, but I didn’t talk to them. They just sort of made it seem that way… Don’t believe everything you read.”

Shop Til It Stops is sponsored by Marshalls, the campaign aims to provide support, prevent violence, and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities. Marshalls will donate $1 for every pair of shoes from October 2 up to October 16.
