Eliza Dushku was on hand to attend Nylon Magazine’s pre 2008 MTV Video Music Award party on Thursday night (September 4) in Los Angeles, CA.
Dushku is currently putting the final touches on Dollhouse, which will premiere in January 2009, the show is about a futuristic laboratory assigns different tasks to its various residents, who then have their memories erased upon the completion of their assignments

Selena Gomez has spoken to Twist Magazine about her new song she just wrote called I’m Sorry, its rumored to be about Nick Jonas being unable to get over his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus.
She says, “It’s about a boy I kind of fell for, but he couldn’t let his ex-girlfriend go, and it was really difficult. And I felt, like, in a way, I wasn’t good enough. So the song is basically me saying that I’m sorry that it didn’t work out or that she used to be who she was, but you have to let me in and you have to know that I’ll do everything I can to make you happy and be the best I can be.”
Gotta love those Disney kids and their drama.
After posing for photographers at the David Babaii party at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival on Friday (September 5), a busy Kate Hudson headed over to the Sir Richard Branson Unite Party in Toronto, Canada.
Meanwhile while she was at the David Babaii for WildAid party, Hudson told the press that while being the test subject for the hair line, it didn’t always go smoothly.
She says, “there was one time where there was a conditioner that literally like turned my hair, like, it was like the driest it had ever been in its life, I was like, ‘David, conditioners are supposed to hydrate! Literally, my hair is like straw.”
But don’t let that put you off the hair line, she said in the end it all came together after two long years of working on the eco-friendly products.
As for why she signed on to work on the haircare line she says, “as a mother and a young woman, I think that it’s time to just start making sure that we’re taking the steps as much as we can to be a part of a community that is about preserving our world. I’ve never liked people preaching to me about anything. I don’t want anybody sort of shoving things down my throat, but when it comes to saving the environment and where we are and what we need to do universally, I think it just is sort of what we need to start doing and if I can be a part of that in any way, that’s my goal.”

Gossip Girl babe Leighton Meester attended the Jason Wu fashion show as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2009 in New York City on Friday (September 5).
Lynne Spears has some competition in terms of celebrity parent books because now E! report that Leighton’s mother, Connie, is planning on penning a book.
Earlier this week it was revealed that Leighton was born in a Texas prison while her mother served time for drug-related crimes.
The book will apparently tell the story of her coming from drug ring co-conspirator to making a name for herself in the real estate world and most importantly the of raising Leighton.
Connie’s manager Lock Powell says she began writing the book over 3 years ago and that her daughter has no problem with it, adding “Leighton and her mom are very close, Connie has had a spectacular life.”

Meanwhile Berrabah’s sister, Zakiya, has just been in court over charges she stole cash, bank cards and store cards from hospital patients while working at the Royal Surrey County hospital in Guildford, England.
Zakiya admitted three charges of theft and two of obtaining property by deception, she stole nearly $9000. While in court she claimed to have a panic attack, collapsed and begged for water for over 10 minutes.
In the end she was given a three-year community order with a supervision requirement because she is mentally unstable and said little voices in her head told her to do it.
Paris Hilton along with boyfriend Benji Madden and sister Nicky Hilton were spotted making their way into Apple Lounge for some dinner on Friday night (September 5) in West Hollywood, CA.
After eating the threesome and a couple of friends headed over to Villa Lounge for some drinks before they all headed home.
In related news, Hilton has canceled all but one screen of her new documentary Paris, Not France at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival.
The documentary is meant to be a behind the scenes insight of Hilton’s life, it will premiere on Tuesday (September 8).
Hilton’s rep Jason Moore told PageSix “we wanted to create more buzz - create some hype, we felt the impact would be more extreme if we had one screening. She is a partner with the documentary and will be attending Tuesday’s screening in support of it.”
A rep for the TIFF would only sayd “I wish we could do more, but it’s better than not showing it at all.”

Sandra Bullock’s husband Jesse James has been hit with a breach of contract lawsuit from his former lawyer’s law firm Keats McFarland & Wilson Llp over unpaid fees.
39-year-old James is the owner of motorcycle company West Coast Choppers, in the lawsuit he is accused of not paying fees of $327,5333 to the law firm after hiring them back in 2001 to protect his intellectual property rights.
The lawyers stopped representing James in April 2007 and say they never received any money for their work.
They are seeking all payments and 10 per cent in interest and costs.
