The judges of American Idol posed together for first time as a foursome while attending the New York City auditions on Tuesday (August 26).
Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson introduced new judge Kara DioGuardi to the world and there seemed to be no problems between the two female judges.
Ryan Seacrest who was obviously also there told OK! “Let’s clear the air, Paula and Kara are great together. They used to live together and Paula helped her out years ago. Now the two of them are on the same team.”
While Simon joked “I love catfights, I encourage them. It’s no fun if everyone gets along. I wouldn’t have recognized Kara by the way Paula described her, I was expecting someone maybe 50 years old, about 180 lbs., maybe a bit of gray hair.”

American Idol has added Kara DioGuardi as a fourth judge for the hit show.
The 37-year-old songwriter will join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul as a judge, as well as producing the eight season of the show.
Simon Fuller says “We are turning the heat up on Idol this year and are thrilled to welcome Kara to the judges’ table, She is a smart, sassy lady, and one of America’s most successful songwriters. We know she will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the show,”
Another producer for the show, Cecile Frot-Coutaz, said “we’ve seen from our international series that having a fourth judge creates a dynamic that benefits both the contestants and the viewers,”
American Idol returns to Fox in January 2009.

More Of The Nominations
This is going to be short and sweet as I am over this show, I now wait for So You Think You Can Dance, tonight on Fox.
1. David Cook’s single got to number 1 on iTunes today.
2. Jive signed David Archuleta, his debut album will be out this summer. He will be on drugs in 2 years.
3. Josiah Leming signed with Warner Bros, he will be starting on his debut album this week. Just incase you forgot, he is the guy who lived in his car.
Ashley Tisdale attended the American Idol finale this evening. Taking a break from filming the new High School Musical movie. Expect to see more of The Tis and her co-stars over the summer.

Only one more night and this shit is over with. But tommorrow night they will be torturing us with a 2 hour finale.
I can’t be bothered going through each performance cause they were shitty, boring and almost put me asleep. David Archuleta is gonna walk away the winner. Could the judges have eaten Robot meat anymore? Poor David Cook got no loving.
The finale is over tomorrow thank god.
