Pink (real name Alecia Beth Moore) has said that she tires to avoid hanging out with Amy Winehouse because she is afraid of going on a drug binge with the singer.
Speaking to The Sun the Stupid Girls singer gave her admiration for Winehouse, she says “Amy Winehouse is awesome. Her music is the core of her and she is f*cking brilliant.”
She adds, “If I got together with Amy Winehouse it would be bad news. That was me ten years ago - but different drugs. I have been clean for a long time now but I am glad I did it then. I f**ked up like crazy and no one gave a s**t when I was Alecia and got away with it. I can throw down. I still get stuck in. I have house parties now but it is mainly red wine and civilised now.”

Amy Winehouse may be suffering from brain damage after having numerous drug overdoses according to the Daily Mail.
The -year-old singer has reportedly overdosed twice in one year, the first was back in August 2007 after taking crystal meth, heroin and cocaine, the second was in July 2008 after smoking marijuana for over 36 hours.
Apparently doctors say that she has “displayed symptoms normally associated with schizophrenia,” and have now warned her that if she has another overdose she could die.
You may recall that back in July when the singer was admitted to hospital, her father, Mitch said that she had just had a “bad reaction to medicine”.
Not the case says a friend, who says “Mitch’s ‘explanation’ for Amy’s hospital dash in July was just simply untrue, She had smoked an inhuman amount of hash which resulted in acute cannabis poisoning. You have to take a s***load of pot to to suffer that severe reaction. It is thought she had been smoking it for 36 hours. She is in need of years of psychiatry and medical treatment if she has a hope.”

More troubles in the life of Amy Winehouse, the singer was scheduled to perform at the Rock en Seine music festival on Friday night (August 29) in Paris, France.
But the singers spokesman, Chris Goodman, issued a statement saying she wouldn’t be performing because she was sick, he said “Amy Winehouse was regrettably unable to perform at the Rock En Seine show in Paris tonight, Friday August 29, due to illness. She was taken ill at her house and wasn’t able to travel to France for the concert.”
It is unclear what exactly is wrong with the 24-year-old singer but Goodman tells People that “It’s nothing serious, It’s just a normal illness – she hasn’t visited a hospital or anything like that. She’s at home in bed, just unable to sing.”
Meanwhile the Rock en Seine bosses are reportedly looking into legal action against the singer and they issued a statement on the website saying “Amy Winehouse should have arrived on the site early Friday evening. We were told by her agent at 8:00 pm that she wasn’t coming, We are very sorry about this situation and share the disappointment of the festival-goers.”
The statement added that “no explanation of the exact reasons for her absence” was offered.
Winehouse is next scheduled to perform at the Bestival music festival on Saturday, September 6 in the Isle Of Wight, England.

Amy Winehouse performed at the 2008 V Festival in Weston Park, Staffordshire, England over the weekend and on Saturday (August 16) the singer was booed after giving a bad performance.
Things went slightly better on Sunday (August 17), Winehouse gave in a wobbly performance but managed to get a good reception from the crowd.
Winehouse has spoken to the Daily Star and she says that she she was so depressed last Christmas that she chowed down sleeping pills to help her get through the festive season without husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was in prison.
She says, “How horrible last Christmas was! I was so upset, I slept all Christmas. I knocked myself out.”
As for how she is doing now she says, “I really miss my Blake. I love him so much. But I’m just focusing on his release. I want to make everything perfect for him. It looks like it’ll be Christmas Eve now. It’s so far away. But I just keep reminding myself of how lovely it’ll be.”

Amy Winehouse was spotted going to the Dingwalls pub in Camden for the Hawley Arms fundraiser in London, England on Thursday night (August 14).
As always with the signer, a simple trip out turned into chaos as once again she allegedly assaulted one of the paparazzi and a member of the public.
Apparently after leaving the pub, Amy “ran riot” while out with her god-daughter, Dionne Bromfield, her bodyguard started to fight with one of the paps.
While the fight was going on, Winehouse threw a glass at the pa
p while shouting and swearing at people in the street and then allegedly slapped one of the people who were walking past.

It is being reported that Amy Winehouse plans to get revenge on James Bond bosses by releasing the song she and Mark Ronson worked on for the new Bond movie, Quantum Of Solace.
Winehouse was originally meant to get the song but Bond bosses were unimpressed with the result of the track so they eventually gave Alicia Keys and Jack White the go ahead for their song.
The Rehab singer tells New Magazine, “I do think they could have waited a bit. If they want a worldwide hit I have them all up here (pointing to her beehive). I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring. When I do release mine - and I am tempted to do it on the same day - this would be the bigger hit. If they change their minds I’m waiting!”
She is also quoted as saying she wants to prove “they made a mistake”.

Amy Winehouse was spotted leaving her home in London, England for the first time in almost two weeks and the singer looked to be feeling weak as she leaned on her bodyguard for support.
Winehouse was making her way to a recording studio in London, making it the first time she has left her home since her hospital drama.
In other news, Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil could be released around Christmas time, according to his mother Georgette who said “We’re hoping that his probation officer will advise him to stay with us. If he’s linked with drugs on his weekend visit he will lose the right to come out early,He will be released on December 30 if he’s a good boy. I’ve told him to keep his head down.”
