Ashton Kutcher has signed up to star in new action comedy “Five Killers,” with production starting early next year.
Kutcher will play a former hit man whose life is turned upside down because someone from his past has paid a group of killers to bump him off.
Robert Luketic who recently wrapped the Katherine Heigl comedy “The Ugly Truth” will direct the movie.

With his wife Demi Moore away in Georgia filming The Joneses, it seems like Ashton Kutcher is a bit bored.
The actor has just took to his MySpace blog to talk about why he is coaching the North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake freshman football team, he says:
“hola amigos long time no chat. I was clicking the keys latenight and thought I might just wax a little philosophy on the myspot page. The wifey is away shooting a film and I’m holding down the fort here in lala land. I’m pleased to report that my Harvard Westlake football team is 4-2. I am blessed to step on the gridiron every week with a great group of individuals that understand that the collective force is greater that any individual can ever be. A lot of people have asked me why I decided to start coaching. I’ve thought about it a lot because at first I would say “it’s just something I’ve always wanted to do” but to be honest there are a lot of things I’ve always wanted to do. So as I dig deeper I’ve actually found that the truth is that it’s something I’ve always been afraid to do. I was afraid of the time commitment. I was afraid that I would look stupid. I was afraid that the players wouldn’t listen to my football advice, I was afraid that the advice that I gave wouldn’t be very good. I’ve have many situations in my life where I’ve had an opportunity to extend my self and walked away for many of those reasons. And though coaching a football team is no great step for man kind I finding that it’s a great step for me and that I’m not there to teach them they are there to teach me.
In other news, I would like to thank the person who wrote this article for the la times

I believe that you have recognized the seed level of my desire to build blahgirls.com for teenage girls. I don’t believe that there are too many places that honestly depict teenage girls. They are underestimated at every turn and ten times more savy than anyone gives them credit for. If we are not honest about them, with them, and to them, and we don’t deliver them the same truths that our media assets have been more than willing to serve up to teenage boys, we will continue to ensure a sexual divide for generations.
Sexual curiosity is not dirty, it’s human!
Check out Blahgirls.com for more. Oh by the way if you become a fan of the katalyst facebook page I’m doing a bunch of video blogging. also I have a live qik feed at qik.com/ashton lot’s of love ak”

Fans got a nice surprise from the showing of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, at the Techcrunch 50 & MySpace Conference 2008 VIP Dinner Party on Monday night (September 8 ) at the San Francisco Design Center, in San Francisco, CA.
While there Kutcher unveiled a new online show called Blah Girls, which is about three animated teen gossip queens who thrive on spreading rumours and commenting on celebrity scandal.
He said the three characters were based on his stepdaughters Rumer, Scout and Tallula Willis.
Speaking at a press conference he says “I’m somewhat inspired by driving teenage girls to school in the morning and hearing the conversation in the back seat… Eventually it just become blah blah blah. That is their voice but we don’t make fun of them. We are making a comedic play on the fanaticism of the girls.”
