Uh oh, the Republicans have a scandal on their hands because John McCain’s running mate Sarah Palin’s 17-year-old daughter, Bristol Palin, is five months pregnant and is set to marry the father.
Sarah and her husband Todd released a statement saying:
“Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support. Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media to respect our daughter and Levi’s privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates.”
McCain campaign confirmed they knew about the pregnancy before they selected Palin.

There are reports that Queen Latifah (real name Dana Elaine Owens) and her long time partner Jeanette Jenkins are planning on adopting a baby at the end of the year.
A source told the National Enquirer that they “are hoping to have a little one by Christmas, they’re trying to keep it quiet because they don’t want to jinx the whole thing.”
But unlike other stars, 38-year-old Latifah has said numerous times she would adopt a baby in the U.S.
Earlier this year she said, “I can understand why people go outside the U.S. You can adopt someone here, and the birth parents have three years to come back and get that child. That’s terrifying, [American children] can use just as much assistance as someone from around the world. I want to do something here.”
She added, “I’ve always wanted to have [children] and adopt. When I was little, I remember seeing TV shows and a child would be adopted and be happy. I just always felt like there are so many kids out there who need a parent.”
There is also reports the couple want to get married now it is legal in California, although they never officially announced they are a couple.
Alessandra Ambrosio only gave birth on Sunday (August 24) but she has already been offered several magazine deals for the first pictures of baby Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur.
The Victoria’s Secret supermodel and her boyfriend Jamie Mazur who welcomed their baby girl in Brazil over the weekend, want to sell the photos to a celebrity magazine.
They will donate all the money to the Multiple Sclerosis Children’s Fund.
With everyone else having children, it doesn’t surprise us that Charlie Sheen and his new wife Brooke Mueller have announced they are expecting a baby.
A family friend tells People that that they found out she was pregnant on Friday (August 22).
Speaking to People, Sheen said “Brooke and I are thrilled! She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy awaits us.”
Congrats to the couple.

Alessandra Ambrosio and her boyfriend Jamie Mazur have welcomed a baby girl after giving birth on Sunday (August 24) in her home country of Brazil.
The Victoria’s Secret angel released a statement saying “To all of our family and friends, we are pleased to announce that our little princess Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur was born on Sunday Aug 24 at 7:32 p.m., She is 6.3 lbs. and absolutely perfect.”
The 27-year-old model told People that Anja Louise “hasn’t cried once except for a second when they pulled her out, We have now felt a new kind of love and joy that we never knew existed.”
Ambrosio plans to be back on the Victoria’s Secret runway for the fashion show in November.
Former Spice Girls singer Melanie Chisholm and her boyfriend Thomas Starr are set to have their first child.
The couple who have been together for over six years are said to be ecstatic to be having a baby, a source said “Melanie is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mum for the first time.”
Melanie confirmed the pregnancy on her official site saying “Some happy news, I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy.”
Melanie recently said she would like to have children and being around the rest of the Spice Girl’s children made her feel maternal.
Just one day after confirming her second pregnancy, Jennifer Garner was spotted heading into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (August 21).
Ben Affleck wasn’t accompanying his wife as he is probably getting ready for his new movie which stars production on Monday, August 25.
