Beyonce has upset X Factor producers after she agreed to to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, the main competition for the X Factor.
It was recently announced that Beyonce would be appearing on the final show for the X Factor in December, but according to The Mirror she has also agreed to appear on Strictly Come Dancing in November.
A source inside BBC said “as far as we are concerned we are the No1 show on Saturday. If X Factor wants Beyoncé, they’ll have to wait. She has signed and we’ve also got Take That confirmed for the coming weeks.”
However a source inside the X Factor, which has both Britney Spears and Mariah Carey appearing says “we aren’t happy Beyoncé is doing Strictly, but she is just one of a number of huge names we’re getting, so we feel that we’ve got the best line-up.”
Beyonce is on the cover of the November issue of InStyle. With her new album due for release next month, the “Single Ladies” singer is talking about her look for the album and her style icons.
On Her Style Before Becoming A Star: “Growing up, I was a tomboy. I refused to carry a purse and wouldn’t wear a dress. That was the eighties and it was all about the hip-hop influence—baggy jeans and big shirts. [Her mother, Tina Knowles] hated it! But then I started singing and ended up watching all of the footage of the Supremes and Tina Turner. And I thought to myself, ‘They’re so beautiful. I want to be like them.”
On Celebs Style She Likes: “Charlize Theron is always beautiful and feminine. I love her couture looks and dramatic silhouette. Halle Berry is elegant and sophisticated. I love that in the seventies Cher and Diana Ross looked like superstars and never played it safe. When they were onstage, they gave you drama—and I love drama.”
On What She Wears Off Camera: “I’m a lot more conservative in my personal life. But even when I’m dressed down, I wear a nice shirt, nice jeans and stilettos. Even when I go on vacation, where no one’s going to see me, I enjoy picking out new clothes, bathing suits and accessories. I do it for myself because I enjoy fashion. It makes me feel like me.”
On Her Latest Look: “I was going to do the shorter hair [for her new album] that I had when I performed with Tina Turner at the Grammys earlier this year, which I loved. But I’ve decided to wear my hair straight instead. I’ve had so many different hairstyles, and I don’t want this project to be about my hair. With my makeup, I was doing a lot of liquid liner before. Now I’m into a gold smoky eye and natural-tone lip.”
According to the Daily Star, Beyonce has signed up to perform at the X Factor final in December. The “Single Ladies” singer will perform a song with one of the finalists
Beyonce joins the list of other acts rumored to appear on the show including Alicia Keys and Britney Spears.
An insider said: “Simon wants to end the series on a high with two of the world’s biggest pop acts.
“Last year we had Kylie and Katherine Jenkins performing duets with Leon and Rhydian and this year we want Beyoncé and Take That. It’ll be the hottest ticket in town.”
Beyonce has made a very nice donation of $100,000 to the Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund benefiting victims of Hurricane Ike in the Greater Houston area who’ve lost homes, property, and jobs.
The singer who comes from Texas is also organizing a fundraising benefit to raise more money for the victims, through her charity, The Survivor Foundation .
