
Chris Brown has announced he is helping Britney Spears on her comeback, saying he has written some songs for his fellow Jive label-mate.
Speaking to the press he said “I actually wrote a couple songs for her now, We’re on the same label, so all the executives heard the records and they love the records, so hopefully she’ll cut it, but if she doesn’t, oh well, we’ll go back in the studio and still do some more records for her.”
The 19-year-old singer added that Britney had not heard the songs yet.

Chris Brown attended the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 7) at the Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA.
The 19-year-old singer is nominated for Video of the Year, Best Dancing Video, Best Choreography ( all three for his song, Forever) and Best Male Video ( for his song With You).

Chris Brown will be performign at this years event.
All proceeds from the event will go to Stand Up to Cancer which was created by the Entertainment Industry Foundation to raise money for cancer research.
Fashion Rocks which aims to celebrate the relationship between fashion and music will air on Tuesday night (September 9) in a two-hour show on CBS from 9PM ET/PT.


Here is Michael Jackson at the Planet Hollywood Hotel wearing a tuxedo jacket and pajama bottoms in Las Vegas on Wednesday (August 27). Jackson turned 50-years-old on Friday (August 29) and the King Of Pop called up ABC’s Good Morning America for a quick phone interview.
Jackson said that he will be celebrating his birthday with his children and that he wants them to have a normal life, “I’ll just have a little cake with my children and we’ll probably watch some cartoons, I am letting them enjoy their childhood as much as possible. … I let them go to the arcade and go to the movies and do things. I think that comes naturally. I want them to get to do things I didn’t get to do, I get pretty emotional when I see them having a wonderful time,”
He also says that around the time of Thriller and Off The Wall, were among the happiest times of his life, he said “That meant very much to me and seemed to be received so beautifully by the public and the world. You know, I enjoyed it very much.”
As for what he plans to do with his life now he says, “I am writing all the time, I love composing and the whole thing. But I am also raising my children and enjoying it and teaching them to ride bicycles and how to read. I love it.”
Jackson also gave credit to Chris Brown and Justin Timberlake for what they have done to pop music, “some of the younger newer artists - I think Chris Brown is doing wonderful and Justin) Timberlake. I really admire what they are doing.”
Rihanna was spotted making her way into Villa Lounge on Tuesday night (August 26) in Hollywood, CA.
In other news, it has been rumored that the 20-year-old singer will be moving into a Los Angeles condo with 19-year-old boyfriend Chris Brown.
Star Magazine reports that Rihanna is “so serious about finding them a new home that she has new listings e-mailed to her even when she’s out of town. She and Chris want to live together They play their music loud though, so they want a condo that’s soundproof.”

Chris Brown and his record company Jive Record are not happy about the R&B singers latest songs leaking online.
Brown and Jive are now trying to do everything they can to make sure no more music is leaked.
A spokesperson for Jive released a statement saying, “recently, unauthorized Chris Brown material was leaked online. Most of the unfinished songs were demos and reference tracks Brown and his production team were writing and producing for other artists. Brown’s record label, Jive Records is doing everything possible to prevent any further illegal distribution of these tracks.”
Chris Brown and Ne-Yo have signed on to a deal with chewing gum company, Wrigley. The two singers will write jingles for new commercials.
Brown’s latest song Forever will be used in an advert for Wrigleys’s Doublemint gum while Ne-Yo will write a song for the big Red brand.
The jingles will debut at a concert in New York on Tuesday (July 29).
