Christian Bale won’t face any charges for the alleged assault on his mother and sister last month.

Apparently Bale’s mother and sister told prosecutors they didn’t want him dragged into a London, England court over the incident.

Prosecutors added they decided not to pursue the case because there wasn’t enough evidence.

More reports on the Christian Bale incident, The Sun now claim that the reason Bale and his mother and sister got in a fight is because they asked him for $200,000 to help raise his sister, Sharon’s three children.

Apparently Bale refused to give any money and this is how the row started, other sources say the real reason the fight broke out is because mother and sister threw insults at Bales wife, Sibi.

A source close to the family said “They did not want any publicity and the last thing they wanted to do was wreck his premiere evening. But they say hebullied them. They are both devastated that it has come to this but want him to be taught a lesson.”

We are sure they will get money from interviews and selling the story anyway…

In other news, Bale has said he doesn’t see his Batman character as a superhero. He said, “Batman doesn’t actually have any superpowers. He just has (alter ego) Bruce Wayne’s wealth - although that is a certain type of power!”

Christian Bale along with his wife Sibi Blazic walked the red carpet together for the Spanish premiere of The Dark Knight, Bale didn’t speak to any reporters as he made hsi way into the theatre on Wednesday night (July 23) in Barcelona, Spain.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart also attended the premiere for the movie which set another box office record. The movie earned $24 million on Monday and $20.8 million on Tuesday, the record is that the movie made over $200 million in just five days.

Christian Bale has been released from a London police station, the Dark Knight actor was arrested on Tuesday morning (July 22) for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister at the Dorchester Hotel on Sunday (July 20).

People report that the actor was released with 10-man police escort, in a blacked-out silver Mercedes people carrier, no charges have been pressed yet but he does have to return in September.

Bale’s lawyer released the following statement to People, “Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister, Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.”

Christian Bale and Maggie Gyllenhaal walked the red carpet for the London premiere of The Dark Knight on Monday (July 21). Bale was lucky to be at the event because his mother and sister filed a complaint claiming the actor assaulted them at Park Lane’s Dorchester Hotel on Sunday (July 20).

When the actor went in for questioning on Tuesday (July 22) he was arrested, the police wouldn’t name Bale but did say “A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment. He was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody.”

One source told The Sun why the actor wasn’t arrested on Monday, “It was a very difficult situation but it would have been wrong to have wrecked the premiere over a complaint which we don’t yet know is founded in truth.”
