Mariay Carey said she is no sure that new husband Nick Cannon is her soulmate, because he reminds her of her mother, Patricia .

The 38-year-old singer tells Fashion Rocks magazine that like her mother, Nick can make any situation a good one with his upbeat attitude.

She says,“when I was a kid there was an ice storm in the suburbs… We went to Manhattan to stay with a friend of my mom’s. There was nobody on the road. It was this moment that could’ve been scary for a kid, but she made it festive. That’s what Nick is like. He takes the hard part of a situation and makes it celebratory.”

LL Cool J has denied rumors that he and his wife Simone are splitting up.

Speaking to OK! the rapper said “I promise you, I’m not breaking up, kill that rumor.”

As for not wearing his wedding ring he said, “to be honest with you, I’m getting my wedding ring upgraded, I’m getting it hooked up… She’s going to get hers upgraded too.”

The 40-year old also said that he and his wife recently celebrated their 14th anniversary.

A source said that Gyllenhaal is telling friends and people on the set of his movie Prince Of Persia that the couple will get married around his birthday on December 19.

the source added “He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time. When he asked her again a couple of weeks ago, she finally said yes.”
