Eva Mendes continued promoting Calvin Klein’s New ‘Seductive Comfort’ bra line on Thursday (October 16) at El Corte Ingles in Madrid, Spain.
The actress is currently on a world wide promotional tour to promote the new line from Calvin Klein.
Eva recently told Vogue that she is “so proud to be the face and body of such an iconic American brand. I’ve grown up with Calvin Klein images and they definitely impacted my youth.”
Eva Mendes is featured in the November 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
On her weight: “I have to work out four to six times a week. It’s because I enjoy pasta and having a biscuit with my coffee. I didn’t work out today, but tomorrow I’ll run Bondi to Bronte. My Cuban heritage means if the zipper doesn’t zip up the whole way, we just say screw it! No big deal.”
On growing up: “When I was little I wanted to earn lots of money. I grew up in Silver Lake, LA, and we were very working class. I used to say to my mum: I’m going to buy you a big house, pay your bills and you’ll never have to work again. Then I discovered nuns don’t get paid, so I thought: How am I going to buy these houses?”
On style: “I try not to stand out. My style can be a little kooky, but I don’t want to be known for how I dress. I’ve made a conscious decision to stay away from dresses that make me stand out in a ‘fashiony’ way. I certainly love fashion, but I want to be known for my work. Not for being controversial on the red carpet.”

On being compared to Jennifer Lopez: “I would like to think I will have a more serious career than J-Lo. We may both be of Latin origin but that’s where the comparisons stop. She manages her career like the head of a big corporation, wheras the only thing I care about is becoming the best actress possible.”
On not dating other actors: “I would never consider going out with another actor because it’s always difficult to have two egocentric people in one relationship, it’s a smaller circle than you realize and everybody has slept with everybody. It’s this sex-recycling machine and I don’t want to be a part of it.”
On her boyfriend George Gargurevich: “He’s very well read and really sexy to me. I love a well-read man - that’s such a turn-on.”

Remember quotes that the actress had sex in all 50 states? Well according to a rep for the actress said the quotes are “complete fabrication and entirely untrue.”
Her rep adds “Ms. Mendes wasn’t even present at the event at which these comments were supposedly made. The entire thing is absurd and offensive.”

In related news, Mendes along with Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington and Guillaume Canet have signed on to the upcoming romantic movie, Last Night.
The movie is written by Massy Tadjedin, who will also take on directing duties for the first time.
Variety say the movie follows a married couple, apart for a night while the husband takes a business trip with a colleague to whom he’s attracted. While he’s resisting temptation, his wife encounters her past love.
People have released their 10 Best Dressed Stars of 2008 list and most of it comes as no surprise, but some of them do.
The best and worst dressed issue goes on sale on Friday (September 19).

Eva Mendes who announced she had had sex in 50 states, was on hand to launch Calvin Kelin’s Secret Obsession Perfume on Tuesday (September 16) in Rome, Italy.
Mendes has also said she has a huge crush on Rolling Stones legend, Mick Jagger. The actress said they first met four years ago while in a French elevator, on the first meeting she says “I literally collapsed when he got out a floor later. He’s delicious, he still looks really good.”
As for the second time they met, she says “I thought: ‘He’s never going to remember me,’ so I just say: ‘Hi, I’m Eva, nice to meet you,’ and he says: ‘Oh, I think we met in Paris.’ I screamed: ‘Oh my God, you remember me?’ The whole facade falls and I was a complete geek.”
