Chace Crafword, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl are all featured in the November 2008 issued of Details Magazine.

Chace on young girls watching the show: “Once when we were on location on the Upper East Side, these girls came up, you know, with the Blair headbands and their skirts hiked up higher than they should be, and I said to them, ‘So, are you looking at colleges?’ and they said, ‘No, we’re in seventh grade.’ I was like, ‘What?! You shouldn’t even be watching our show!’”

Chace on being under contract for six seasons: It never really gets frustrating, sure, sometimes you just want to have a scene where you’re drunk or having fun. I’m hoping for a fall from grace for Nate. Five years from now, I better have murdered someone!”

Penn on Chace Crawford’s looks: “It’s like he was genetically bred to be a teen star.”

Penn on his relationship with Blake Lively: [it’s] wonderful and also something to grapple with, you have to draw the line somewhere. I’m fine talking about my family and personal history, because it humanizes you. But I have to save some shit for me.”

Penn on the public’s view on him: “people who don’t know me that well often think I’m a bit of an asshole and take myself too seriously.”

Ed on nearing the end of school in the U.K: . “I don’t understand how the government expects a 16-year-old to know what they want to do, t made me incredibly anxious and upset.”

Hereos Is Not A Hero In Ratings

heroes1.jpg

The much hyped two-hour season three premiere of NBC’s Heroes didn’t live up to expectations in the ratings.

The show was down 25% from last year’s season two premiere of the show, which has been on a nine-month hiatus thanks to the writers strike.

The show averaged at 9.9 million viewers, for the 9PM slot the show came in second after ABC’s Dancing With The Stars (averaged at 21.1 million viewers) and for the 10PM slot it came in second again behind CBS’s CSI: Miami (16.9 million viewers).

While The CW’s Gossip Girl held steady in the ratings with 3.4 million viewers, only down 300 thousand from last week’s all time high for the show.

Ed Westwick Does Page Six Magazine

ed.jpg

Chace Crawford isn’t the only only Gossip Girl star who is speaking to the media, now co-star Ed Westwick has spoken to this week’s Page Six Magazine and the 21-year-old actor talks about Chace, his character Chuck Bass and summer.

On fame: There are perks to this job. We [the Gossip Girl cast] were all thrown into this situation with a lot of attention on us, and you get a lot of free clothes and s–t but that’s no reason not to stay grounded. What am I really doing, baby? Saving the world? Nah, I’m on television.

On Chuck Bass: Chuck is an iconic character and the clothes are iconic. I think I rock the look well. My style has always been good. Top notch, baby. I like the glamorous indie rock look, like the Libertines. But you know, without the heroin needle sticking out of my arm.

On enjoying his life: If I want to go out and drink and throw a glass in the street, I’ll do it. As long as the reason is that I want to have fun and not that I want to create some sort of tension around me. Then I’d be a d–k. But I’m not.

On Chace and gay rumors: People think Chace is gay, and thought I was gay, that we were humping. It’s not true, but hilarious. People project their fantasies onto people. I’ve never been someone who makes it my objective to go out and pick up chicks. But I’ve met some fantastic ladies here. You know those amazing conversations where you find yourself in a café talking until 2 a.m. and never see them again.

On summer time: I love going out in the summer. The girls wear their nice dresses. Did that sound sleazy? It really did, didn’t it? Put it like this: Everyone comes out looking gorgeous in summer. We are a more beautiful species in the summer. No doubt Chuck Bass would say ‘cheers’ to that, baby.
