The promotion wheel for the upcoming High School Musical 3 : Senior Year has already begun, despite the film not being released until October 24.
Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale along with Kaycee Stroh, Olesya Rulin and Chris Warren Jr. were on hand for the “Ultimate Fan Pep Rally” on Saturday (August 23) at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
About 1000 fans were able to attend the event the sing-a-long and enjoy a sneak peak of the third installment of Disney’s hit series.
While Vanessa Hudgens wasn’t at the event, Efron has said that his girlfriend “outshines” all other women.
He says, “Vanessa caught my eye straight away. She simply outshines all other girls because of her strong personality. I don’t know if I believe in love at first sight, but I do believe in two people having chemistry straight away. I don’t know what it was with Vanessa but we kind of clicked from the very beginning. She is not just a lovely girl, she is also a sexy and desirable woman!”
The three main stars of the High School Musical series are featured in the September 2008 issue of Elle Magazine, which has Jessica Simpson on the cover.

Ashley Tisdale on why it took two films to see Troy Bolton (Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Hudgens) kiss : “The Disney Channel has done movies where the guy and girl kiss, but Kenny thought it would be really nice if you didn’t actually see that, It left fans saying, ‘Wait, we have to see them kiss!’”
Zac on if ther could be a HSM 4: “It feels to me like making number four might be gratuitous, “I think this is the final adventure for the Wildcats. But who knows?”

The first posters for High School Musical 3 : Senior Year have been released. The posters feature Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel and Corbin Bleu.
The movie is set for release on Friday, October 24 and the official soundtrack will be released Tuesday, October 21.

The High School Musical actor was flying in from New York City, girlfriend and HSM co star Vanessa Hudgens (not pictured) was on hand to pick him up from the mobbing crowd.
Zac Efron attended the 2008 ESPY Awards which were held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 16). This is the 16th annual ESPY Awards to be held since the awards debuted in 1993.
The High School Musical star is attending the awards to present an award for the show which airs on ESPN on Sunday (July 20).
The ESPY awards give a portion of the proceeds they make to The V Foundation, named after its founder Jim Valvano.
