The Daily Mail report that Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are set to get married at Christmas.

A source said that Gyllenhaal is telling friends and people on the set of his movie Prince Of Persia that the couple will get married around his birthday on December 19.

the source added “He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time. When he asked her again a couple of weeks ago, she finally said yes.”

The couple met when filming the movie Rendition in 2006, Witherspoon has two children, Deacon and Ava with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Before moving in with Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal was given a list of rules. According to Star Magazine, Reese “laid down the law” before allowing Gyllenhaal move in with her.

A source said, “Reese believes in wide-open communication, and she discussed at length with him what is best for her household, Some of (the things she insists on) are run-of-the-mill. He has to take off his shoes when he’s in the house; trash must be taken out when the can is three-quarters full; and no feet on the coffee table.”

Jake who is now playing step daddy to Witherspoon’s children, Ava and Deacon who she had with ex husband Ryan Phillipe, “used to swear like a sailor, but not anymore, if he does, he has to apologize.”

Reese also makes the family eat and have family discussions at the dinner table, if a member of the family isn’t going to be eating dinner then they must give notice before hand.

On Monday night (July 7) Reese Witherspoon went to dinner with her boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal, well with Gyllenhaal off preparing to film The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, it was time for Witherspoon to spend some quality time alone and with her children, Deacon and Ava.

The actress wearing a black bandanna, went to do some shopping in Notting Hill in London, England on Tuesday ( July 8 ) to pick up some items from Aimé Boutique.

Once finished shopping, Reese picked up her children and after quick change of clothing, the mother took her kids to the Tate Modern Museum in London.

The movie is about a young prince Dastan (Gyllenhaal) in sixth century Persia who joins forces with a princess (Arterton) to stop a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands Of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

A make-up free Reese Witherspoon was pictured shopping at Twenty8Twelve by S. Miller (A fashion line by Sienna Miller and her Sister Savannah) in London on Wednesday. The actress with a coffee in her hand looked confused as she left the store.

Reese is currently living in Notting Hill while her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal is there filming his new movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
