Jessica Alba took a break for her motherly duties as she attended the 2008 ALMA Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday (August 17) in Pasadena, CA.

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren took their baby daughter Honor Marie out for some lunch in Brentwood, CA on Saturday (August 16).

The family were joined by some friends for the day, as they did their best to cover Honor from the following paparazzi.

Speaking of Alba and babies, the Sin City actress recently told You Magazine she would consider adopting children. She says, “I’d like to have as many children as my body will allow - and I’d adopt if I still want more children after that.”

Alba said her husband shares the same values as she does, “He wants the same things in life, He wants to adopt and have a big family and believes in marriage forever. It can really happen if we want it to.”

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren were spotted grabbing a coffee after leaving the Arclight Theaters in Hollywood, CA on Friday night (August 15).

The couple seemed to be in good spirits as they left daughter Honor Marie home as they took some time alone, Alba even smiled at the waiting photographers as they made their exit.

Jessica Alba has posted a new entry in her myspace blog titled “What An Amazing Opening Ceremony” She goes on to talk about the Olympics and competition site ibeatyou.com which is owned by her husband Cash Warren.

“Hey everyone! I wanted to write a quick note to see how everyone is doing. It’s been a while since I checked in but know that I read your messages and really appreciate them…well most of them. Everyone in the family is doing great.

I don’t know about you all but Cash and I have been glued to the Olympics. How amazing was the opening ceremony?!? I still don’t know how they coordinated 2008 people to move in perfect sync. The mens 400M relay was insane. We were down by almost a half body length going into the final turn and then next thing you knew it was closer, closer, closer until we touched the wall first! Cash and I went crazy. The shot of [swimmer] Michael Phelps after the race ended cheering with his teammates is so memorable. The last time I got this excited watching sports was when [pal Baron Davis] was in the NBA playoffs. Next year we get to watch him in Los Angeles. Go Clippers!! ;)

Well if you aren’t in the best shape of your life and training every day to make the next Olympics I highly recommend checking out the IBY Living Room Olympics. Honestly, my friends Air Synchronized Swimming performance is legendary and Chad showed he can do more than just type 90 words/min with this nerf dunk. Despite taking some time off I am still in the top100 on the site…beat that!!

David Beckham has teamed up with Elmo on the popular hit show Sesame Street. This is the first picture from David’s appearance on the show.

David was invited to appear on the first episode of the 39th season along with other celebrities including Heidi Klum, Jack Black and Jessica Alba.

A source said “David has always been a huge fan of the show. When he was a kid he watched it, like a lot of people, and knew all the characters. He was more than happy to go on.”

OK! have released the first photographs of Jessica Alba’s baby Honor Marie Warren. Honor was born to Alba and husband Cash Warren on June 7 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

You may recall that TMZ reported the couple recieved $1.5 million for the photographs along with an event in the future, most likely a holiday.

On Giving Birth: “I didn’t scream,” Jessica tells OK! in an exclusive interview and photoshoot. “It was really Zen.” And Cash could only marvel at his wife’s quiet strength when she gave birth. “She didn’t make a sound,” he says. “It was amazing.”

Losing Pregnancy Weight:“I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I’m doing it slow,” she says. “Now I’m starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive.”

Who Honor Looks Like: “She looks like a girl version of me,” Cash says. “She has my nose, my eyebrows and my…”

“Forehead and dimples,” Jessica finishes, adding, “She has my mouth when I was a baby. And my ears.”

“Maybe Honor is a mixture,” Cash reconsiders. “I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I’d kill myself!”

Former supermodel turned daytime TV queen, Tyra Banks has been named the hardest working person in show business in Parade.com’s annual Summer Pop Culture online poll.

The America’s Next Top Model judge beat out the likes of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Jennifer Lopez, fellow model turned TV host, Heidi Klum and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.

Other winners included Nicole Richie, who beat out Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise for the Most Improved Reputation category.

Hottest New Mama went to Halle Berry, beating Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lopez. Last but not least, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer were picked as the Most Unlikely Couple.
