Jessica Simpson New Music

The National Enquirer report that one Jessica Simpson’s new songs called Remember That, is actually about bullying and not about an abusive boyfriend, as has been reported.

Simpson recently told Elle, “I don’t want to talk about what happened, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run.”

While the song tells a woman to leave a man who abuses her, a source tells the Enquirer that the song is written about a bunch of girls from high school,  “Jessica was well-developed, and every guy in high school wanted her and practically every girl hated her, Jessica put on a brave face, but it was a campaign of terror that just devastated her.”

If you want to hear a clip of the song then head over to Simpson’s MySpace page.

Simpson Back To TV

Jessica Simpson is set to make her return to TV on Wednesday (August 6). The singer and boyfriend Tony Romo will be apart of HBO’s Hard Knock’s which aims to show fans the inner-workings of American football camps.

Which is interesting because last year Jessica was bashed by Dallas Cowboys last year after she was blamed on the team losing every match she attended.

HBO boss Ross Greenburg has said the episode will not be centered around Simpson, “I’m telling you, we are going to attack this Hard Knocks the same way we have attacked all of the other Hard Knocks. We’re not going to make this an E! half-hour entertainment show on Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson.”

Jessica Simpson Covers Elle

Jessica Simpson is on the cover of the September issue of Elle magazine.

On Her Life After Splitting From Nick Lachey:
“I was going through a lot of pain. I didn’t try anything to change my life other than dating different types of guys and conforming to their worlds. I thought I had to be artsier, more intellectual.”

On Her Relationship With Her Ex John Mayer:
“John believed in the Jessica Simpson that’s within. He cherished our love. He helped make me the woman I am today. John is going to be an amazing man for someone, but I know that I was supposed to be with someone else.”

On Being Abused and Recording A Song About it:
“I had to record that. There’s nothing on my album that you’re gonna hear that I don’t relate to or that I haven’t experienced. Because the only way I know how to sing is from life experience. I don’t want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in away that I would tell people to take their heart and run.”

On Her Relationship With Tony Romo:
“Most of the guys I dated were captivated by my heart but they had different ways of trying to get to me. Tony understands me. He appreciates my talent. He’s the first person I’ve spiritually connected with. I’m a girl that loves to be in love. I love love!”
