Jessica Simpson doesn’t turn 28 until Thursday (July 10) but that didn’t stop the singer from celebrating her birthday on Monday night (July 7).
Accompanied by her boyfriend, Tony Romo, the singer was photographed getting dinner at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, CA.
Jessica had two more guests, sister Ashlee Simpson and her husband, Pete Wentz, also came out to celebrate with Jess and once they got the food out of the way, it was time for them all to party, they headed over to the Key Clubs.
Don’t forget Jessica’s country album, Do You Know, is released on September 9th, lead single, Come On Over, debuted at number sixty five on billboards Hot 100 and is currently number twenty seven on the Country charts.

Here promo photos for Jessica Simpson’s new fragrance, Fancy, which is to be released on August 15th. The official website for the fragrance is here, on the website there is a message from Simpson.
She says, “With Fancy, I wanted to create a pretty fragrance, one that I could be just as comfortable wearing on the red carpet or every day with my favorite jeans. For me Fancy is just that ; fancy. This is a special fragrance-personal, whimsical, playful and romantic with a heart of gardenia, an essence I truly cherish, Jessica Simspon”
Relationship wise, Simpson recently went for dinner at an Olive Garden in Janesville, Wisc, to meet boyfriend Tony Romo’s parents and it all went well according to onlookers, saying they “looked like a coouple” and spent the night kissing and cuddling.

Remember this t-shirt that Jessica Simpson wore earlier this month? Well not only has it annoyed Pete (click here for Peta’s response) but now Pamela Anderson has gotten herself involved.
During a recent radio interview in Australia, Anderson addressed the “Real girls eat meat” t-shirt, she said “I think she is a bitch and whore. Actually, I don’t know if she was talking about food or men.”
We aren’t taking any sides but, does pot calling the kettle black work here? We think so. Either way, Pam then went on to say that she is happy about not eating meat.
She said, “I think it’s healthy, good for your body and good for the environment.”
Jessica Simpson appeared on ABC’s The View from Las Vegas on Wednesday (June 25), the singer said that she isn’t even thinking about marrying boyfriend, Tony Romo yet.
The singer was on The View to promote her new single, Come On Over and her new album, Do You Know. The single was released digitally on Tuesday (June 24) and the album is released September 9th.
Jessica denied rumors that she and Tony had split, she said “You know, we’re still together, We’ve been together seven, almost eight months now, and I don’t really know about wedding bells. But I still love him, and I’m still with him — and that’s pretty good sign!”
Simpson then went on to say that she is going to make time in her schedule so that she can go to watch all his games when then football seasons stars. For some reason, we don’t think his fans will be too happy about that.

Jessica Simpson blogged on her official site on Monday (June 23), the singer was basically promoting her new single Come On Over, which was released on digital on Tuesday (June 24).
She said, “Hey y’all! I wanted to let ya know that my single “Come On Over” will be available tomorrow in itunes and amazon.com! Thanks for supporting me so much already, I have the best fans in the whole world! I’m beyond blessed.
Oh yeah and don’t forget that I will be performing it on The View live from Vegas Wednesday morning, I can’t wait to sing for y’all again. It has been way too long!

Nothing like a bit of shameless self promotion, in other news, Jess’s single has been gotten a very good review from Billboard. The review looks like this, “Pop princess and tabloid queen Jessica Simpson needed to hit a home run with her country debut if she wanted any shot of being accepted in a skeptical carpetbagger’s world, which has recently been inundated by the Eagles, John Mellencamp, Darius Rucker, Bon Jovi and Jewel. How about this? Mission accomplished and then some. Sexy, flirtatious “Come On Over” is everything it needs to be—undeniably country and not forced. Under watchful maestro John Shanks and Brett James, Simpson shines on a steel guitar-laden track that finds her pleading with a beau to drop everything for a little loving. Is it the most thought-provoking tune in recent years? No, but Simpson is convincingly ready to play in the country arena. Come on over, indeed.”
Tell us, will you be buying Come On Over?

Jessica Simpson may or may not have dissed Carrie Underwood with her “Real Girls Eat Meat” shirt, but some fans can’t tell the country singers apart.
On June 11th in New York City, Simpson was returning to her NY hotel after having lunch at Dos Caminos in SoHo. A fan ran up to the singer and said she was “her number-one fan from back in the Idol days.”
Someone on the scene told OK! that “Jessica smiled politely and didn’t correct her, and she started to laugh when the girl asked how she was doing since her devastating split from Chace [Crawford]. She wasn’t pleased that the girl had no clue who she was!”
This is absolutely hilarious, good on Jessica for not being rude to the fan but honestly how embarassing that she was mistaken for her boyfriend, Tony Romo’s ex.
