Jessica Smpson surprised concert goers at the 2008 CMA Music Festival Nightly Concert Show Show on Thursday (June 5th) at LP Field in Nashville.

The singer and Randy Travis addressed the crowd together, this is the first of many public appearances Jess will be making over the next couple of months to promote her country record.

First up she will be on The View on Wednesday, June 25th to perform new single Come On Over. Then Jessica will be perofrming at the Monterey County Fair in California on August 15th.

Jessica Simpson and boyfriend Tony Romo seem to be going strong, the couple were spotted grabbing lunch at Dallas Primo in well Dallas. The pair were kissing and cuddling in the streets at one point Jessica even rested her head on Tony’s shoulder.

Meanwhile in her music career, Jessica will be on The View in 2 weeks to perform her song Come On Over from Las Vegas. The View will be airing from Vegas for the week of June 23rd-27th. Jessica will be performing on June 25th.

Jessica Simpson is on the cover of Dear Doctor for an article about Operation Smile, which is dedicated to helping children around the world who have facial deformities. On her trip to Kenya, Jessica says “My experience in Kenya with Operation Smile was incredible. To witness the truly miraculous trans-formations in the lives of so many desperate needy children was both powerful and personally rewarding.”

In other Jessica news, the singer is nervous about her new country musical route. Speaking to Extra she says “I am so nervous, I know this is a part of me that people are going to see that they’ve been waiting to see and I’ve been waiting to let out so it’s very exciting.”

The opening of the Palms Place Hotel & Spar in Las Vegas last night (May 31st), brought the Simpson sisters out to Sin City. Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz walked the red carpet, followed by Jessica Simpson.

Once inside, the Simpson sisters spent some time together, Jessica was rubbing Ashlee’s stomach and smiling the whole time.

Jessica Simpson was photographed arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles today (May 29th). The singer was with her mom Tina Simpson and her hair stylist/bff Ken Paves.

Jessica seemed to be in high spirits as she should be, her sister just confirmed she is pregnant and if rumors are to be believed then she is back with boyfriend Tony Romo. But thats not all, Jessica’s new and first ever country single Come On Over premiered on radio this week.

Wearing a cowboy hat, Jess seems to be taking the country music seriously.Now lets hope Papa Joe takes butting out seriously.

Tony Romo is willing to give Jessica Simpson another shot, but this time Papa Joe Simpson isn’t calling the shots. Tony is over Papa Joe’s ass.

Chicago Sun is reporting that they are back together on a trial basis, basically if Papa Joe keeps out of the relationship then Tony will stay with Jessica. If not he is gone.

”He did agree to go to [sister Ashlee’s] wedding — keeping his promise to Jessica,” Romo’s Eastern Illinois alum chum told me. ”But he made it super-clear that if they were to give it another go, her dad had to seriously back off.”

So will Papa Joe mind his own business? Probably not, Jessica needs to fire him, he has ruined her life.
