Liv Tyler posed for photographers as she attended Samsung Imagination Icon’s Series Premiere Event: The Inspiration & Passion of Valentino Garavani at The Grace Building in New York City on Wednesday night (September 3).

Speaking of Liv, it was recently announced that there will be a sequel to The Strangers and the 31-year-old actress will reprise her role.

Variety report that Rogue Pictures is to reunite with Bryan Bertino to write a sequel to the hit horror movie, The Strangers. It is unclear if Bertino will direct the movie or not (The Strangers was his directorial debut).

The Strangers which cost just $9 million to make has grossed over $54 million so far, it will be released in the UK on Friday (August 29)

The Strangers is about couple that in an isolated home, they start to get terrorized by three masked strangers.

If the sequel (which may just see Liv Tyler return to her role) is successful they hope to turn it into a franchise, like they did with Saw.

Mia Tyler has said that when she was just 8-years-old her mother, Cyrinda Fox, would let her eat cannabis seeds because she thought it was funny.

The former model believes this is what started of her years of drug abuse, speaking on her childhood she says, “there were pot seeds around and I would pick them up. My mom thought it was funny if I ate them. It was challenging. I grew up real fast. I saw things I might not normally see.”

Speaking through her new book, Creating Myself, she says all of this is behind her now, “I lead a hard life early on so i can lead an early life now.”

The 29-year-old also writes about the time she first saw her half-sister Live Tyler, while at an Aerosmith concert.

Both girls were unaware they even had a sister at the time, she says, “there was this girl who looked like me. I went home that night and I couldn’t stop talking about her, and my mom was like, ‘Wait a minute…’ and I think she started putting two and two together and she was like, ‘That’s your sister.’”

Mia then goes on to say that ever since they met they have been inseparable and help each other with everything, including their relationship troubles (Liv is in the middle of a divorce from husband Royston Langdon while Mia split from her fiance Brian Harrah.)

She says, “She’s going through a divorce and I’ve been divorced so it’s a lot of adult conversations.”

The Strangers actress Liv Tyler said she would love to be able to sing, be it on Broadway or on an album. The actress who is the daughter to Aerosmith star Steven Tyler said it is her dream and lifelong ambition to be able to sing.

Speaking to the media she said “I would love to do a musical - like on Broadway. That’s like the dream of my whole life. I always wanted to be a singer. Or get to sing. I haven’t been able to do that, and I would love to do that.”

No surprises at the box office this weekend Hancock made $107 million, smashing its competition. Hancock is now the third biggest July opener ever, after Transformers and Spider Man 2.

The superhero, with a twist, movie also makes this Will Smith’s eight consectuive movie to make over $100 million and his fourth July 4th movie to win at the box office, Independence Day, Men In Black and Men In Black 2 all opened at the top of the box office.

The other new movie out this weekend, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, didn’t have a good opening. The movie opened at number 8 with 3.6 million. The top 10 looks like this:

Liv Tyler attended the Christian Dior show for the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris on Monday (June 30).

Dressed in a chic black dress, the Incredible Hulk actress looked stunning as she made her way inside the building to enjoy the fashion show.

Liv recently denied reports that she and Edward Norton had an affair on the set of the Hulk movie. A rep for the actress said the relationship, “is and has always been platonic”.
