Matt Damon Loves Being A Dad

damon4.jpg

Matt Damon attends the OneXOne which is a fundraiser for domestic and global children’s charities.

The event was held on Monday (September 8) at the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada.

It’s only been a month since the birth of his new daughter, Luciana Barroso, but the proud father has spoken to OK! Magazine about being having another child.

He says, “it probably influences me in ways i’m not even aware of, I think certainly once you have kids it’s hard not to see your child in every other child that you meet. And when you see the way a lot of children live in the world it makes you very angry as a parent.”

As for what he enjoys most about being a dad, “well that’s a tough question because there’s a lot to love about it, It’s probably the indescribable way that a new child opens up your heart. It sounds kinda corny but it’s true.”

Speaking at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday (August 27), 36-year-old Affleck said “I’ve kind of been texting him back and forth, and he’s doing great and Lucy is doing great,”

As for Damon being surrounded by females in his house, Affleck said the only thing his friend wanted was a healthy baby, “anybody who has a child is excited, I think, no matter what the gender is. They are thrilled, the thing that people really want, when you get down to it, is a healthy child.”
