OK!  have released the first photographs of Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves’s new baby boy, Levi Alves McConaughey.

Levi was born on July 7, when the baby was born Matthew spoke about the choice of name,“Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: ‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light. We wanted to incorporate her family name.”

You may recall it was reported the actor was paid $3 million for the first baby photographs.

Becoming A Dad: “We found a great rhythm,” Matthew tells OK! about the delivery of baby Levi. “Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music.”

On The Sex Of The Baby “I said, ‘Come here, little man. I saw the pecker and screamed that we’d been right all along about him being a boy. Then I brought him over to her [Camila],’ Matthew said.

“It was neat to find out what the sex was because we didn’t have the doctor tell us beforehand,” Camila agrees.

Who Levi Looks Like: “Everybody thinks he looks like me because of the hair and skin tone,” Camila says. “I think he looks more like Matthew every day.”

Matthew adds, “I’ve pulled out some baby pictures of myself, and the resemblance is amazing. This kid has a lot to learn from us. I want him to come out being a little wiser, a little cooler and a little happier than we are.”

How does OK! Magazine make so much money? The magazine recently just payed Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves $3 million.

Now they have done it again, TMZ report that OK! have payed Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren a $1.5 million for photos of their new baby girl, Honor Marie Warren.

They claim the deal will be of the first photos as well as an “event”, most likely a holiday. A source said that the photos taken this week are “so cute.”

Kate Hudson and boyfriend Lance Armstrong made a stop by the Maternal Ward at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 9).

The couple weren’t going to see if Hudson is pregnant, instead they were going to visit her friend and Fool’s Gold costar, Matthew McConaughey and his new baby Levi Alves McConaughey.

TMZ are reporting that OK! Magazine have paid a hefty $3 million for exclusive rights to Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves’s new born baby, Levi.

The deal includes the first pictures of the baby, the first Christmas and if the couple choose to get married, the rights to that, however they would have to pay some extra money for that.

Earlier we posted that Matthew McCounaghey and his girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their baby son on Tuesday (July 8).

They named the baby Levi Alves McConaughey, the proud father has spoken to OK! magazine, “Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. The couple together issued the following statement, “We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin’.”

While McConaughey’s brother, Rooster, told People that his brother is lucky to have a boy the first time, he joked, “You can get away with dropping ‘em a couple times, and they’ll still be okay. Can’t really do that with a little girl.”

Speaking on his brother he said, “He’s probably a bit tired right now, probably been sitting around that hospital just staring at the little guy, The other day I told him, ‘Don’t worry if other people want to hold him for that first year. That’s okay.’ Our dad always used to say that, Hell, you wanna wait until their neck muscles get stronger anyway. That’s when the fun starts. I like ‘em when they get a bit tougher. I told him, they don’t really get fun until they’re about a year old anyway.”

Rooster who has two children, including a 2 year old named, Miller Lyte, finished off by saying “That guy is going to make one helluva a dad.”

Matthew McConaughey became a dad on Monday after his girlfriend model Camila Alves gave birth to a baby boy. He was born in California at 6.22 p.m and weighed in at 7 lb., 4 oz.

Matthew gave a statement to OK!

“A healthy baby boy was born,” Matthew tells OK! in an exclusive statement. “Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world — Having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure — raising one, together.”

Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey are teaming up once again. The pair are planning to remake the 1978 comedy “Foul Play.” The original movie starred Kate’s mother Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase.

This will be Kate and Matthew’s third time acting together, they have starred in two romantic comedies, the 2003 hit “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days” and the more recent “Fool’s Gold.”

Kate has spoken about the movie saying “negotiations have started, but we don’t even have a writer yet”.
