Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown plans on getting the last laugh when it comes to her ex Eddie Murphy. If you reemmber, Murphy dumped Mel while she was pregnant with their child, Angel Iris, in 2007.
The whole drama played out in court, eventually Mel after results from a DNA test for the actor, but Mel isn’t content with this. The singer told a magazine in Britain that while she is working on her new album she is also doing a song about the dead beat that.
She said, “The working title is Beverly Hills C**k, because that’s what he is. He never bothers with his daughter. I mean, what kind of man is that?”
We LOVE it. Of course Mel knows that his lawyers will be all over her, she said they will be “vetting the lyrics closely”.
On top of working on her new album and possibly going on tour with Janet Jackson, it seems like Melanie Brown could have another gig coming up.
American Idol judge Simon Cowell wants Mel B to replace Sharon Osbourne on The X Factor, the show which launched Leona Lewis in the UK. Sharon quit the show over money arguments - she wanted more but they wouldn’t give it ot her.

Melanie Brown was seen leaving Heart FM studios in June on Friday (June 6th), Mel stopped to take pictures with fans, all the while giving some builders an eye full as she walked past them.
Mel is currently working on her 3rd album, she is quoted as saying “It’s an R&B-pop kind of thing, a cross between early Pink and Destiny’s Child. Urban pop. That’s what I do best, where I come from, what people know me for, I’ve recorded four songs so far with some really great people.”
She has also confirmed that she will be opening up for Janet Jackson on her tour, speaking to GMTV she said “Yep, well I’m 10 songs into my album and she worked with me on one of the tracks. I’m also doing a tour of America with her in September, which I can’t wait for. She’s a great lady.”
