Miley Cyrus is in the September 2008 issue of Seventeen magazine, which hits newsstands on Tuesday, August 12. The young star finally opens up about her relationship to Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers.
On the relationship: We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met. He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, ‘I think you’re beautiful and I really like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.’ Nick and I loved each other. We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.
On the breakup: At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights - and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now - I don’t want to look pretty. I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.
On where she is right now relationship wise: Maybe he’ll be my best friend for the rest of my life or maybe I’ll end up marrying Nick Jonas. Since (the break-up), I’ve realised that I’ve met so many great guys, but I like being the girl nobody can have. No one can touch me, no one’s mine. I’m myself. I think it’s sexy to do your own thing.
Taking some time off from working, Miley Cyrus and her friend Adam Sevani were spotted riding their bikes in Toluca Lake, CA on Tuesday (August 5).
Miley’s shoulders looked to be peeling from sunburn as she stuck her tongue out at the waiting paparazzi.
Miley’s latest CD Breakout has been knocked off the top spot by country group Sugarland who were number two last week.
Miley sold 162,800 this week, which sees a 56% drop in sales from last week.

Miley Cyrus attended the 2008 Teen Choice Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on Sunday (August 3).
The young singer/actress who is nominated for three awards including Music Single for her song SeA Female Artist and TV Actress Comedy for Hannah Montana is also taking on presenting duties for the awards ceremony.

Disney star Selena Gomez has denied that there is any fighting between herself and fellow Disney star, Miley Cyrus. The young star sat down with Extra and gave a quick interview.
On false rumors she hears about herself: “Everywhere you go you’re going to hear things that are untrue…You just got to learn that I don’t say it, physically out of my mouth,on camera, it’s not true.”
On a Miley feud: “It’s just the media wanting something to talk about and wanting us to fight…and there’s nothing to talk about,”
On how she stays grounded: “My mom’s there to say, ‘The moment I see you get big-headed or changing, I will drag you right back home to Texas and we are moving away from here,”
On her growing fame: “It’s overwhelming and there’s a lot to think about…knowing that there are hundreds of kids out there that look up to me. I know that’s a big responsibility.”
As for what she is jamming to: On my iPod right now is my best friend Demi Lovato, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Jonas Brothers. “Then I actually got Miley’s new CD. I really like her CD.”

Could Hannah Montana be coming to an end? Maybe. Miley Cyrus told E! that they are thinking the up comign season will be the last one for the hit show which has a feature moving coming out in 2009.
She said, “We’re thinking this is our last season, I just think we did a lot of episodes, We basically did two seasons in one last year. Usually people would do one season that would be, like, 16 episodes, and we did almost 30 episodes! It seems like it’s been on, like, longer.”
The young star then went on to say that she will stick with her Disney “family” because they make her feel safe.
A disney rep then denied that the show is comign to an end by saying they have an option for season 4. The rep said “Miley said it best when she said she’s delighted to be part of the Disney family, We start production on the third season of Hannah Montana on August 4 and have an option for a fourth season beyond that.”
