Miley Cyrus is featured on the cover of the new Billboard magazine, which is in stores today. In the magazine, Miley talks about her new album, the Vanity Fair incident and Hannah Montana.

On her new music and songwriting:
“It’s grown-up, I wrote all the songs except two. My last one, ‘Meet Miley Cyrus,’ was more just meeting me, finding out who I am, and here it’s more getting in depth of what’s been going on in my life in the past year. No matter how long what I’m doing here lasts, I want to be a songwriter for the rest of my life. I love it and it’s my escape. I just hope this record showcases that — more than anything — I’m a writer.”

On Vanity Fair:
“I was embarrassed, but also it’s like, every career thing that I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I think that just makes me even more relatable. I don’t think people will look at me any differently because they’re like, ‘You know what, I’m going to do stupid stuff too, and I’m going to make mistakes, and that’s fine.’ It still hurts when I think about it — but you know what, it doesn’t mean that you can’t move on.”

On Hannah Montana:
“It will wrap up, eventually. I mean, I won’t be Hannah Montana by the time I’m 30. But we’ve only done two seasons, so we definitely want to work on that hopefully for another two years.”

In other Miley news, the young star could soon be on television more often if Tyra Banks has her way, a source close to the pair said, “Tyra wants to produce a show for Miley. Miley already has a huge following among teen girls, so her show would likely be successful. Tyra sees Miley’s potential.”

It’s that time of year when Forbes release their annual Power List, can you guess who is number one? Yep you got it, Oprah Winfrey is the most powerful celebrity in the world, for the second year in a row.

The big O made a cool $275 million last year. Other people on the list include Jennfier Aniston at 17, Lauren Conrad at 97, Miley Cyrus at 35, Zac Efron at 92 and Jonas Brothers at 89.

It wasn’t a good year for Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson as they were all kicked of the list this year.

Miley Cyrus has left fans annoyed, the singer/actress was scheduled to perform to a crowd of 15,000 people in Fayetteville,Arkansas today (June 6th). The reason was for “scheduling conflicts”

Miley is currently in Tennessee to shoot The Hannah Montana Movie. Miley recently said she misses her friends in LA while away, “Back in LA, I love that I live so close to friends like Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens. I’ve made so many close buds at Disney. I miss them. But, thankfully my fans I are always there for me. They help give me strength to carry on.”

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus was spotted stopping by The Perfect Parrot in Hollywood over we the weekend. The young star was picking up a new bird and cage.

Miley didn’t seem to mind the photographers much as she threw them her peace sign. In other Miley news, she apparently wants to start her own fashion line. It would look similar to her favorite designer, Marc Jacobs.

“I would love to have my own clothing line because my style is different from a lot of people,” she said. Miley wants to have a relax styled clothing line. “I like starting trends, but I also like to be comfortable,” she said. “I like to be casual but cute and stylish at the same time.”

Hannah Montana star Anna Maria Perez De Tagle (what a mouthful) has said her co-star Miley Cyrus almost quit over the Vanity Fair pictures.

Anna who plays Ashley on the Disney show, says during phone calls with Miley she has had to boost the stars spirits.
“Sometimes I’ll talk to her on the phone and she’ll be like, ‘It’s really hard’ or ‘I’m really tired. I can’t do this.’ I’ll always say, ‘You do want to do this. You love your job.’ It (the VF photos) really hurt her. She didn’t know that people would look at it like that.”
