Pitt and Tarantino met in France on Tuesday (July 15) to speak about the movie and once Pitt gave interest in the movie, “studios are already salivating over the expectation that Tarantino will land Pitt to play the key role of Aldo Raine.”
Tarantino is also hoping to get another A-List actor, Leonardo DiCaprio to play Hans Landa, another lead role in the movie.
They say, “several studios said the script is vintage Tarantino and they’re eager to be in business with him at a reasonable price.”
Inglorious Bastards is set to shoot in Germany and France this coming fall, so Pitt won’t have to do much travelling since the family will all be in France.

Mamma Mia is released in the USA on Friday, July 18 and the movie will most likely get pummeled by The Dark Knight but the movie has been a huge success overseas.
Mamma Mia which stars Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried has already made £7.6 million, which makes it Streeps biggest ever opening in the UK.
The movie tells the story of 18 year old Sophie (Seyfried), who is about to get married but there is only one problem, she doesn’t know who her father is. Her mother (Streep) tels her it could be any one of 3 guys, so she invites all 3 guys to the wedding, all the while featuring Abba songs.
The movie has helped make Abba become back in the charts again, HMV spokesperson Gennaro Castaldo said: “Abba are one of HMV’s consistent best-selling artists, up there with the likes of the Beatles and Elvis, and it doesn’t take much to spark a bit of an Abba revival - let’s face it, most of us would pick them as our ‘guilty pleasure’. Right now, their sales are rocketing again thanks to the huge exposure being given to their music by the success of the Mamma Mia film. Amazingly, Abba Gold is back in our top 10, while the cast recording soundtrack to Mamma Mia itself could easily end up as our biggest-selling album this week.”
He then continued on to say, “Further evidence of the band’s enduring appeal comes in the form of the singles charts, which show the likes of Dancing Queen, The Winner Takes It All, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and Mamma Mia all threatening to re-enter the official UK top 100 on the strength of downloads alone.”
