Michael Jackson wannabe Chris Brown performed on NBC’s “Today” show on today (June 6th) at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

Over on ABC’s “GMA” Ashanti was joined by Ja Rule to perform on Bryant Park. We felt like we were back in 2002 with the duo performing. Photos are below.

Jesse McCartney has said that Zac Efron turned down a seven figure recording deal, he also said he is happy for the success Zac has had. Speaking to InTouch the singer said, “One second he was a guest on Summerland, the next he was on the cover on Rolling Stone! I’m really happy for him he’s such a laid-back, humble person. We talked about it, obviously, and I think it was noble of him to turn it down. They were ready to offer him a number with six zeros attached to the end of it, but he made the right decision. He knows he’s not a singer, he’s an actor.”

Miley Cyrus has left fans annoyed, the singer/actress was scheduled to perform to a crowd of 15,000 people in Fayetteville,Arkansas today (June 6th). The reason was for “scheduling conflicts”

Miley is currently in Tennessee to shoot The Hannah Montana Movie. Miley recently said she misses her friends in LA while away, “Back in LA, I love that I live so close to friends like Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens. I’ve made so many close buds at Disney. I miss them. But, thankfully my fans I are always there for me. They help give me strength to carry on.”

On top of shooting a cameo in the Pussycat Dolls video, it seems as though Britney Spears is off to England next week to shoot the video for Radar, her next single.

Britney’s manager Larry Rudolph spoke to PopWrap, “The theme is her and her girlfriends are going to be looking all around London trying to find a boy who she met in a club. Every time they think they have him, it’s someone else,She will be behind the camera as much as possible; she wants to make sure it’s exactly right.”

Britney Spears could be making a cameo in the new Pussycat Dolls video if Access Hollywood is to be believed. is making a cameo in the new When I Grow Up video by the Dolls.

“She is doing a cameo in their new video shoot today,” a source for Access said. They then go on to add that Britney was spotted in Burbank, close to where the Pussycat Dolls are shooting the new video.

Avril Lavigne had an after show party at the O2 Arena in London last night (June 4th). The singer is currently touring Europe to support her album The Best Damn Thing.

In other Avril news, she has signed on to do a fragrance with Procter & Gamble Prestige Products. The fragrance is expected to be launched in the latter half of 2009. “Young teenage girls really aspire to Avril and love everything about her, We think we can reach out to new consumers with her scents.” Said the company.

Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland attended MTV Australia’s Xbox party in Sydney, Australia today (June 5th).

Walking the green carpet in a white top and denim shorts, the singer recently spoke to Take40 about a Destiny’s Child and if there could be a reunion for the group. Kelly says, “So many people have asked myself, Beyonce and Michelle the questions about another Destiny’s Child reunion and I don’t know when that is right now,” Kelly explained. “Everybody is basically dibbling dabbling in their own things and I’m excited about it as well and supportive of each other above anything. And I think as long as that support system is there then everybody really has nothing to worry about. We’re forever friends whether people see us singing songs together or not.”She then went on to say, “I know everyone does want a Destiny’s Child reunion and I wouldn’t want anyone to know as a matter of fact. I would want it to be a surprise. I think our fans deserve a surprise and we would love to surprise them with something!”
