With her music career getting a kick off again, Jessica Simpson was photographed arriving in Lake Tahoe, CA on Friday (July 11).

With her dog Daisy and boyfriend Tony Romo also with her, Simpson made her way from a private plane to a waiting car.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted on the set of her upcoming movie Labor Pains in Los Angeles on Friday (July 11).

It’s going to be a busy couple of months for Lindsay as her third album, Spirit In The Dark is set to be released on November 4th.

Speaking about the album she said, “It’s a different style of music for me. It’s more urban and dance, you know. It’s more Rihanna-esque, which I haven’t really ever done.”

It’s been reported Samantha Ronson has played several of the tracks at private parties.

We now know that Simpson’s album will be released September 9, dad and manager Joe Simpson confirmed the date to US Weekly by saying, “It’s 9-9 — she’s into nines this year. We hope it’s a wonderful joy. It feels really good. She is extremely happy.”

On her website, Jessica wrote “I had so much fun making my video, I’m so glad y’all finally get to see it!” Liz Friedlander directed the video.

Lily Allen spent the day with her family on Friday (July 11), the singer was photographed at the funeral of her late grandmother. Lily held onto a young girl before having a smoke with her brother Alfie.

Allen recently said she dyed her hair back to her natural dark brown color in honor of her grand mother, on her myspace page the singer said, “I got bored of the pink. I can’t believe I’m posting a blog about my hair. You may have heard my nan passed away, last weekend, we were close and even though she had been very ill for the last few years, it was a big shock. Anyway the point is my nan would have killed me if I went to her funeral with pink hair, so there is another reason.”

Lily is also taking a stand against the numerous stabbings in the UK, the singer blogged “please can everyone stop stabbing each other in the UK , it’s really sad , my thoughts are with all the families affected by these heinious crimes . we need to have a knife amnesty , we should put on a big concert to raise awareness and stop the violence , Boris , if your listening , call me man speak soon peeps x xx”

It is been reported that Allen is planning a big concert to raise awarness, the singer is planning to approach Amy Winehouse, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs, Leona Lewis, Jaz-Z and Sugababes.

Speaking about how she is different to Miley Cyrus and the single, which is released July 14, Ali said “She’s really good, But I have different music than her. It’s a different vibe – it’s definitely a different vibe. Mine is more hip-hop. Kind of like Rihanna.”

As for a duet with big sister Lindsay Lohan, Ali told the magazine “I think that would be awesome, we talked about it.”

Christina Aguilera was spotted coming out of a recording studio in Studio City, CA on Tuesday night (July 8 ). The new mum of her son, Max, is currently working on her up coming studio album, which is set to be released later this year. Once again Aguilera will team up with friend and producer, Linda Perry.

The Dirrty singer recently told Glamour magazine “I can tell you that this record is all about fun. I’ll be referencing Pop Art, Andy Warhol’s art. So it will [sound] fun and fast-paced, and visually, it will be full of color, which is how it’s going to tie in with my new fragrance, Inspire [in stores next month]. But there’s also going to be a modern element to it that comes from my love of Tokyo.”

Aguilera will tour sometime in 2009 to support the as of yet untitled album.

Jessica Simpson doesn’t turn 28 until Thursday (July 10) but that didn’t stop the singer from celebrating her birthday on Monday night (July 7).

Accompanied by her boyfriend, Tony Romo, the singer was photographed getting dinner at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, CA.

Jessica had two more guests, sister Ashlee Simpson and her husband, Pete Wentz, also came out to celebrate with Jess and once they got the food out of the way, it was time for them all to party, they headed over to the Key Clubs.

Don’t forget Jessica’s country album, Do You Know, is released on September 9th, lead single, Come On Over, debuted at number sixty five on billboards Hot 100 and is currently number twenty seven on the Country charts.
