Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday bash concert is happening in a couple of days, so that means they have to have a nice dinner for the former South African president, some stars stepped out for fundraising dinner at London’s Hyde Park on Wednesday afternoon (June 25).
Leona Lewis looked pretty in her pink dress will be performing at the event so she made sure to show up to the dinner, also in attendance were Sex and The City star Kim Cattrall, Uma Thurman and boyfriend Arpad Busson, Lewis Hamilton and his new girlfriend, Nicole Scherzinger.
Last but certainly not least is Will Smith with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The Hancock star will be hosting the concert this Saturday, so expect lets of self promotion during the event.
Never one to shy away from a bit controversy, Naomi Campbell also showed up the dinner with boyfriend Marcus Elias, despite being kicked from the event. Mandela personally intervened to make sure she does not appear on stage at the concert.
A source told the Mail Online, “The man himself intervened and she was pulled off the list. He was disappointed with her recent arrest - particularly as she was wearing a 46664 baseball cap at the time, Naomi was slated to introduce some of the acts on stage as she has done with 46664 concerts in the past, but she has been informed that this time she can only sit in the grandstand.”
A rep for model said “Naomi had never planned to go to the concert but she has been invited as a guest to his dinner tonight.”

SkyNews that airline, British Airways are
disgusting and claiming a member of their crew called her a “Golliwog supermodel”.
Well BA aren’t too happy with this, they are apparantley going to sue the supermodel, a rep for the company released the following statement, “Miss Campbell didn’t name the member of the cabin crew who supposedly used this racist word. But it is a serious slur against a small group of people whose identities are now well known within the airline”
They continued on, “It seems strange that Miss Campbell should only make this allegation after her case was heard. The crew- members have talked to lawyers, but their line managers are apparently less keen. They don’t relish the idea of going to court as it will resurrect the whole issue of the lost luggage that BA would obviously now like to draw a line under.
Campbell’s friend, Donald Trump recently spoke out about Naomi, he said “She has a little anger management problem. You don’t want to mess with Naomi. But she’s a good woman. I know her well and she’s a good woman.”
On Friday (June 20th), Naomi Capmbell appeared in a London courtroom to plead guilty to charges against her over her incident on a British Airways flight.
A day later on Saturday morning (June 20th) the supermodel was in Milan, Italy for the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show as part of Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2009.
The model didn’t seem to have a worry on her as she strutted the runway, despite telling Sky News that she “was called a racial name on that flight and that was part of my reaction, I was called a ‘Golliwog supermodel’ — I don’t think that’s really fair, do you? As for British Airways, I just think they are disgusting.”
British Airways has since responded to the racism claims, “British Airways does not accept any allegations of racism,” the airline said in a statement. “We are proud of our diversity.”We have strict policies concerning dignity at work and have long-standing training programs on diversity and inclusion.”
So who do you believe, the airline or Naomi? We are more inclined to believe BA this time.

These charges include two counts of assaulting a constable, one of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and one of using threatening or abusive words or behavior to cabin crew. All of which can have a punishment of jail time and/or a fine.
In a statement, Crown Prosecution Service director Nazir Afzal said, “Ms. Campbell was aggressive, hostile and violent to people who were simply trying to do their jobs. Her behavior fell far short of what is acceptable.”

UPDATE: Naomi has just been sentenced, the model escaped jail time and a big fine. Instead she got 200 hours of community service and she will also have to pay $400 to each officer and another $300 to the air captain. She got of LIGHT.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been charged for allegedly assaulting and spitting at police officers. The incident happened April 3rd at London’s Heathrow Airport. Naomi was set to fly to Los Angeles on a British Airways flight but she got thrown of the plane. They called the airport police and Naomi let her inner demon out.

Speaking outside the courthouse, Naomi’s lawyer, Simon Nicholls said “Miss Campbell is bitterly disappointed that the prosecutors have advised her she is to be prosecuted for various offences. She respects that decision and she hopes this matter is dealt with expeditiously.“
Naomi is due in the courthouse June 20th.
