Band Fall Out Boy are the latest celebrities to donate money to help fight against Proposition 8, a bill that aims to have gay marriage banned in California.
The band donated $50,000 to help fight prop 8, in a statement they said “we believe government shouldn’t legislate love. Vote no on proposition 8.”
Wentz himself wrote on his blog saying “there are a lot of causes out there — a lot of ‘good’ fights to be fought. I think proposition 8 is pretty lame — as many others do too. It’s fucking lame.”

Jennifer Aniston was spotted leaving John Mayer’s home in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (July 24)
Speaking of Mayer, his friend Pete Wentz has done another online message to the musician, keeping up their online messages to each other.
He writes, “john mayer is one of my favorite dudes. not even in some fantasy way. just in the way that he is in on the joke, while you are simply laughing at it.”

Ashlee Simpson and a friend were spotted doing a bit of shopping in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (July 23).
The mother to be looked in good spirits as she laughed and smiled the whole time they were out, the pair stopped by American Apparel before grabbing an iced coffee to cool themselves down.
Ashlee’s husband, Pete Wentz said he has been reading up to try and prepare himself for their baby, “I’m reading all the books. The best one I’ve read so far is ‘The Expectant Father’. I’m talking to my dad a lot. I’m talking to Ashlee’s dad a lot. We hang out with other people who have kids. You see the world in a different way. It’s exciting.”

Not long after arriving in Lake Tahoe to support Tony Romo in the American Century Golf Championships.
Jessica Simpson along with her dog Daisy, sister Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz all boarded a private jet in Tahoe to fly back to Los Angeles on Sunday (July 13).
Having the family out to support him wasn’t enough though, Romo ended up in third place in the competition.

Jessica Simpson doesn’t turn 28 until Thursday (July 10) but that didn’t stop the singer from celebrating her birthday on Monday night (July 7).
Accompanied by her boyfriend, Tony Romo, the singer was photographed getting dinner at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, CA.
Jessica had two more guests, sister Ashlee Simpson and her husband, Pete Wentz, also came out to celebrate with Jess and once they got the food out of the way, it was time for them all to party, they headed over to the Key Clubs.
Don’t forget Jessica’s country album, Do You Know, is released on September 9th, lead single, Come On Over, debuted at number sixty five on billboards Hot 100 and is currently number twenty seven on the Country charts.
