Pink has admitted that she checked herself into Canyon Ranch health center in Tucson, Arizona, over the summer because she felt she was becoming an alcoholic.
The singer, real name Alecia Moore, says that she found it hard to have fun without having drinks, because she is a control freak.
She says “a few months ago, I went to see a specialist because I thought I was an alcoholic. I have a problem with my vices. I’ve kicked the drugs, but every now and then I have to go out and get completely wasted on alcohol. For me it’s about losing control. I’m such a control freak it’s very hard for me to lose my inhibitions without something chemical inside me. How do you really have fun if there isn’t a little drink in you? I don’t actually know.”
Pink who split up with her husband Carey Hart earlier in the year adds that the therapist “asked me when I’d had my last drink and I couldn’t remember - it had been a few weeks previously. I then read the AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) manual cover to cover and we talked. I realised I wasn’t an alcoholic, just someone who likes to get drunk every now and again. I’m trying to work out if that’s a bad thing.”
Star Magazine report that the Church of Scientology has grabbed another celebrity, this time it is singer Pink (real name Alecia Beth Moore).
Apparently the singer turned to the religion because of her divorce with ex-husband Carey Hart. It is said friends Juliette Lewis and Lisa Marie Presley were part of the reason she turned Scientology.
A friend of the singer said “Pink is still in the beginning stages of checking out the religion, but she has really taken to it and she want to get more involved.”
Russell Brand has spoken to The Sun about filming kissing scenes with Katy Perry and Pink for the sequel to Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
The comedian who, will reprise his role as Aldous Snow in the movie titled Get Him To The Greek, said that its Christina Aguilera that he was most excited to shoot scenes with.
He says “Christina was amazing. She is unbelievable - a perfect object. How could you ever talk to her about anything other than sex? In the scene with Pink and Katy Perry I had to do kissing. I got to snog them both in a day.”
Continung on he said “Katy Perry is lovely. She is the kind of girl who would skip downstairs lightly. Pink is a lovely woman - a forceful, sexy woman. With both of them I didn’t act, the acting stopped.”
Pink attended the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 7) at the Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA.
The So What singer isn’t nominated for an award but she will be preforming her new song at the show.
Pink’s new album Funhouse will be released on October 24.

Pink (real name Alecia Beth Moore) has said that she tires to avoid hanging out with Amy Winehouse because she is afraid of going on a drug binge with the singer.
Speaking to The Sun the Stupid Girls singer gave her admiration for Winehouse, she says “Amy Winehouse is awesome. Her music is the core of her and she is f*cking brilliant.”
She adds, “If I got together with Amy Winehouse it would be bad news. That was me ten years ago - but different drugs. I have been clean for a long time now but I am glad I did it then. I f**ked up like crazy and no one gave a s**t when I was Alecia and got away with it. I can throw down. I still get stuck in. I have house parties now but it is mainly red wine and civilised now.”

Wither her song leaked on the internet, it was time to shoot the video for So What. On Wednesday (August 6) Pink did just that and the paparazzi were on hand to photograph every second of the video shoot.
The singer was spotted driving a lawn mower down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, CA while drinking a bottle of vodka.
Once finished that part of the video, Pink was then spotted with a chainsaw beside a tree that had her and her ex Carey Hart’s name engraved into it.
