On meeting one of her idols - Karl Lagerfeld: “It was so surreal, like meeting the pope or the president or a cartoon. He’s fantastic.”
On boyfriend Hayden Christensen: “Hayden is a guy’s guy. Tractors and such. I’m learning to play chess. A certain someone happens to be very good and I don’t think I will ever accomplish beating that person. But that is the goal.”
On dating fellow actors: “You can’t help it, they’re who you surround your self with.”


Rachel Bilson has signed on to star in a new indie romantic movie, Waiting for Forever, according to Variety.
The movie which is directed by James Keach will go into production at the end of September in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Waiting for Forever is about a young man who’s happy without a job and decides to spend the rest of his life with his love - a 25-year-old TV actress living in Hollywood.
No word on who will play the male lead.

Former O.C. actress Rachel Bilson posed for the cameras as she walked the red carpet for the Ultimate Bachelorette Party that she hosted at The Bank nightclub in the Bellagio Resort Hotel and Casinoin Las Vegas on Friday night (September 5).
27-year-old Bilson will soon be serving as maid of honor at Josh Schwartz‘ (creator of the O.C. and Gossip Girl) wedding to his fiancée Jill.

Bilson on the election and young people voting: “Thank God! It’s very exciting. I’m really happy that there’s so much heat around this election, because there needs to be. Right now, we need a change. I campaigned for Kerry four years ago, and I supported Hillary.”
On Hilary Clinton: “Well, I definitely like that idea. I mean, there’s nothing more empowering than to know that I was alive to see the possibility of the first woman president. I think our country needs that femininity, you know? Still, I hope Obama wins.”
On whats next for her: “I’d love to do a musical. I’d love to do comedies…. I know what I want to do, but it’s just not as detailed as I’d probably like it to be.”

On being risky in her fashion style: “I think it’s cool to be on the worst-dressed list.If people aren’t accepting, that’s OK. Bring it on, I don’t care!”
On Hayden: “I’m happy and that’s all that matters. I have someone really great. Someone who can make me laugh—that’s always what comes first. It’s the best to be able to really, like, truly laugh with someone like they’re your best friend, you know?”
On Adam Brody: “They say don’t date your co-star, but that’s who you’re around. If you’re in an office, and you see someone everyday and you click well, you’ll start dating. It’s the same thing.”
On her clothing line Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans: “I came with some pictures, a couple pieces of my own clothes and some ideas in my head. It’s simple with one pop of color, which is like me.”

Taking a break from her shopping runs and working on her clothing line with DKNY jeans, Rachel Bilson and some friends went out to Crown Bar in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday night (August 6).
Missing was Bilson’s boyfriend, Hayden Christensen, but that didn’t affect the former OC actress as she was all smiles signing autographs for fans as she made her way in to the building.
