Carroll who is set to travel the world promoting the new Tomb Raider : Underworld game has said she might be the best Lara Croft yet.
Speaking to the Daily Star she says, “All the other Laras have been great. But this is the first time they have got someone who not only looks good but can do all the action moves as well.”
Carroll is hoping that she could replace Angelina Jolie in the Tomb Raider movies, “I’m taking Lara to a new level. You could say my mission is to become the real-life Lara Croft. I would like to think I am the best one yet. Angelina might disagree though! Ideally, I would love to do a film. That would be absolutely amazing. Angelina is great but if she can’t do it I’m more than ready to step into those boots for her.”
She adds, “I’m not scared of becoming a sex symbol or the thought of getting lots of male attention. But Lara doesn’t really have any time for men and it seems I’m also going to be too busy from now on. It doesn’t really matter as most men can’t keep up with me anyway!”

The 23 year old British gymnast will now travel the world to promote the new Tomb Raider: Underworld game which is due for release later this year.
Carroll told The Sun that she is “single and having fun, I’m not looking for a long-term relationship as most men can’t keep up with me. But playing Lara Croft, the sexiest game heroine there is, should get me a few more dates!”

When it rains, it pours, or so is the case with Morgan Freeman because a friend of The Dark Knight actor has confirmed to Access Hollywood that the actor and his wife of 24 years are getting a divorce.
Bill Lucket told Access Hollywood that Freeman and Myrna Colley-Lee “are involved in a divorce action, and for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and Colley-Lee] have been separated since December of 2007.”
You may recall that Freeman was involved in a car accident over the weekend that caused his car to flip in Mississippi, both he and his female passenger, Demaris Meyer (who is described as a friend) were airlifted to a hospital in Memphis.
The actor had surgery after suffering a broken arm and elbow, Meyer was treated for injuries and released.
TMZ are reporting that Morgan Freeman has been injured in a serious car accident near Ruleville in Mississippi.
The actor was airlifted from the scene of the accident to a hospital in Memphis, TN, both Freeman and the female passenger’s condition is unknown.
They say alcohol isn’t a factor. We hope The Dark Knight star is okay.
Update : A spokesperson for the Regional Medical Center in Memphis told TMZ that Freeman’s condition is serious.
Well we didn’t see this one coming, Hollywood has a new bad girl on the scene. UsWeekly report that 19 year old Nikki Blonsky from the movie Hairspray and her father were arrested at the Providenciales International Airport in Turks and Caicos.
The Blonsky family had their luggage on a seat in the airport when a woman came along and wanted to take one of their seats, the family refused to move the luggage.
That is when it kicked off and things got physical, the woman’s injuries were so bad that was immediately flown off the island to Miami. The Hairspray actress was charged with actual bodily harm and her father was charged with grievous bodily harm.
To mix it up some more, Bianca Golden, a contestant from America’s Next Top Model was also involved in the fight, it is unclear what she had to do with it but she was on the island because her family live there.
Nikki was in court on Friday morning (August 1) wearing a neck brace and is due back in Magistrate court later this month.
UPDATE: TMZ have more information on the fight and they say that Bianca was also arrested.
Bianca’s mother was the woman who was flown to Miami for foot innjuries while Nikki’s father, Carl will remain in jail until August 8 for beating Bianca’s mother up.
The fight happened because Nikki’s family were keeping five seats that Bianca’s family wanted, during the fight a member of Bianca’s family bit Nikki’s foot.
