Hellboy 2: The Golden Army took the top spot at the box office this weekend. The movie opened with $35.9 million taking first place. Will Smith’s Hancock came in at no.2 with $33 million taking it’s total to $165 million so far.

Meet Dave which stars Eddie Murphy bombed coming in at No.7 with only $5.3 million, his worst opening since “The Adventures Of Pluto Nash” back in 2002.  Yikes. Somewhere out there Melanie Brown aka (Scary Spice) is laughing at Murphy.

Selma Blair gave Hellboy fans an eye full in Los Angeles on Saturday night (June 28), the actress attended the premiere for the upcoming sequel, Hellboy II : The Golden Army.

In the movie, Selma plays the girlfriend of Hellboy, Liz Sherman. Guillermo del Toro who directed the original movie takes on this one, as well as taking on directing duties, he wrote it.
