The paparazzi caught up with Shia LaBeouf as he made his way around Glendale, CA on Wednesday afternoon (August 13).

The actor was still wearing his hand brace as a result of his car accident last month and even though LaBeouf’s co-star/possible girlfriend Isabel Lucas said that they are “both fine and Shia’s fine as well, His hand is healing well.”

His injuries have put the production of Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen in trouble as the actor needs a month recovery time and his fingernails are black due to bruising and bleeding under the skin.

Star Magazine are reporting that Shia LaBeouf may have to have his pinky finger amputated.

A source on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen said, “Shia called producers yesterday and told them,It’s really thrown the movie into turmoil.”

LaBeouf hurt his hand in his car accident last month.

UPDATE: Shia’s rep told X17 the story is “an absolute fabrication.”

PageSix are reporting that Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf is set to check into rehab to help beat a drink driving conviction.

LaBeouf is set to go in front of a court at the end of August but PageSix say that he will do whatever he can to help his case.

Shia who was involved in a car crash after drinking and driving in July, is only considering rehab because “judges like to see it”.

A rep for LaBeouf wouldn’t comment on the allegations but said, “Right now, we’re focusing on Shia’s hand.”

Shia LaBeouf has gotten off with the crash he was involved in on Sunday morning with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen co-star Isabel Lucas.

Steve Whitmore, the Sheriff’s spokesman told the AP that detectives have determined that the other driver involved ran a red light and will be cited.

Shia La Beouf is featured in the September issue of Details magazine which hits news stands on August 12.

The actor gave an interview before his DUI crash on Sunday morning, Shia tells the magazine that he and his father would drink and smoke together while he was growing up.

On drinking: “It’s not something that is conducive to being a role model — no iconic actors that I know of have problems like that, And I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman. I don’t know how to have one drink.”

On his drunken incident at a Chicago Walgreens last year: “It was two hotheads, One completely in the wrong, one who wasn’t enjoying his job that night, going at it about minuscule bulls–t.”

This is the girl who was in Shia LaBeouf’s passenger seat when he crashed his car on Sunday morning. Isabel Lucas is an Australian actress who came to fame on Home And Away and is going to be in the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the sequel to original Transformers.

Lucas wasn’t seriously hurt when LaBeouf flipped his Ford F150 after making an illegal left turn and got broadsided. She was treated for minor head injuries while Shia had to have surgery on his left hand, he is taking a month off from filming Transformers 2 to recover his hand.

NY DailyNews report that Lucas has been dating Entourage star Adrian Grenier since February and the actor is said to be unhappy that she was partying with LaBeouf all night.

While UsWeekly report that LaBeouf and Lucas were out at Troubadour club in Los Angeles, CA and Shia was “dancing around and acting really crazy, He kept doing shots of whiskey.” His mother then told the magazine that “He is doing really well… Thank you so much for asking.”

Shia LaBeouf was arrested in Hollywood, CA at 3am on Sunday morning (July 27th). TMZ report that Shia made an illegal left turn at the corner of La Brea and Fountain in Hollywood.

Shia turned in front of another car, causing the other car to hit Shia’s, which ended up rolling. Shia injured his hand up injuring his hand, which he had surgery on.

Shia will not be booked on felony DUI charges, instead he will be booked on a DUI  misdemeanor because there was no serious injuries on anybody else.
