Kate Walsh attended the 2008 ESPY Awards which were held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 16). This is the 16th annual ESPYS to be held since the awards debuted in 1993.
Walsh is attending the awards to present an award for the show which airs on ESPN on Sunday (July 20).
The ESPY awards give a portion of the proceeds they make to The V Foundation, named after its founder Jim Valvano.
Walsh’s show Private Practice will return to ABC on Wednesday, October 1. The first season of the show will be released to DVD on September 16.

Conflicting reports today about Katherine Heigl’s future on Grey’s Anatamy. There has been a ton of reports and rumors regarding the actress getting killed off from the show after upsetting producers it has even been reported that the Grey’s producers are preparing for some new blood on the show.
A “well placed source” source tells USMagazine that Heigl’s character Izzie Stevens is indeed on her way out, possibly from a brain tumor. The source say that creator of the show Shonda Rhimes and the writers for the show “are pissed at her, it’s their way of screwing with her. She won’t know whether she’s going to live or die.” Another source then went on to joke “If her character does get a brain tumor, she’ll probably get an Emmy!”
Meanwhile People are reporting that Heigl is not leaving the show, with ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson saying “She’s absolutely staying with the show, there’s an unbelievable storyline for her which is really central to everything that’s going to go on this season. We’re really excited about that.”
So should Heigl stay or go?

Speaking of Summer, the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles star recently spoke with Fancast.com on her new found fame, she said “People always choose to say something to me when I’m at the pharmacy, the produce section or airport,” she said. “I’m like ‘I’m sorry I’m just a regular girl’. I always feel like I’m disappointing in real life. Just a girl reaching for the celery. But I’m thrilled at how many people are watching the show. People are seeing the show and are excited about it.”
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles returns to Fox on Monay September 8th
It was a mini Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel reunion as Eliza Dushku posed with David Boreanaz and Joss Whedon at the Fox All-Star Party at the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, CA on Monday night (July 14).
Boreanaz’s hit show Bones will return to Fox in the Fall, while Dushku’s show Dollhouse which is created by Whedon will premiere in January and run for 13 episodes.
Katherine Heigl was spotted out for a jog on Sunday afternoon (July 13). The Grey’s Anatomy gave the paparazzi a wave as she made her way through her Los Feliz neighborhood.
Once finished getting her exercise on, Heigl met up with her mother Nancy for some lunch at a restaurant in Los Angeles.
There has been no confirmation or denials over whether or not Katherine will remain on Grey’s or if she will be killed off.

Nicole Richie could be heading to TV and not just on the cameo she filmed for NBC’s Chuck. Apparently, Nicole’s 2005 novel, The Truth About Diamonds may be turned into a TV show.
On the possibility of a show Richie told E!, “I would definitely produce and definitely be in the show, I don’t know if I need to be the star of this show. I’ve got a lot going on right now.”
The Truth About Diamonds is about a socialite girl named Chloe Parker who is adopted by a music superstar when she is a child, the novel basically follows the life of Nicole herself
Richie is currently working on a sequel to the hit novel, but she wouldnt go into detail, “I’m not telling you, it’s not finished.”
