Terrence Howard has denied reports that he is set to marry a friend of his, saying it was just a joke that went too far.

The Crash actor said that the joke happened while serenading a friend at a recent concert to promote his upcoming debut album, Shine Through It.

He says, “I sang this song called Will You Marry Me? I picked this girl that I knew and sang it to her. At the end, everybody was saying congratulations!”
