Tyra Banks attended the 2008 Fashion Rocks ceremony on Friday (September 5) at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
All proceeds from the event will go to Stand Up to Cancer which was created by the Entertainment Industry Foundation to raise money for cancer research.
Fashion Rocks which aims to celebrate the relationship between fashion and music will air on Tuesday night (September 9) in a two-hour show on CBS from 9PM ET/PT.
Tyra Banks has been called phony by audience members of the Tyra Banks Show after she apparently ignored fans and left them waiting for hours.
PageSix reports that while filming a taping for the “Celebrating Black Models, Past, Present and Future” episode at the West 26th Street Studio in New York City, Tyra left fans waiting while she “stood backstage giggling, snacking and chatting with the crew.”
An audience member said “you could hear her going on and on because she was standing right behind the stage curtain,he’s talking and talking. Meanwhile, you have the entire audience waiting almost two hours for the taping to start.”
When Tyra eventually came out to the stage she ignored fans, didn’t say hello and just went straight into her script. The audience member added “She acted so cold towards everyone. She’s a phony.”
Another thing that annoyed the audience is Tyra brought models in from the street and when she was interviewing her them, she only spoke about herself and her modelling career.
If they expected anything else they were on the wrong show.
