Disney have opened the official High School Musical 3 site, as of now you can only subscribe to a newsletter to receive move information on the movie.
The movie which returns with all the original cast is about senior year of high school, Zac Efron’s character and Vanessa Hudgen’s character are faced with the prospect of having go separate ways after they graduate. The movie is currently shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah and is set for release October 24th. Do you plan to see the HSM movie?

High School Musical heartthrob Zac Efron spoke to People about the upcoming HSM movie while at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards last night (June 1st).
The actor who won Best Breakthrough Male, when asked about the movie on the big screen he said, “It felt like the first two movies all over again. We just kind of can’t go wrong with Kenny Ortega as our director and leader and our great cast and crew. We’ve got no squabbles to get through. Everything’s been stepped up a few notches, all the dances, and I think the songs are pretty catchy this time around. And it’s our senior year, so we’ve got graduation and prom to look forward to. All fun things to have in a movie.”

High School Musical lovers Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards today (June 1st) at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City.
Zac won the breakthrough performance for his role in Harispray.

The cast of High School Music 3 were on Good Morning American today and they all seem to enjoying shooting the third movie in Salt Lake City, Utah. Some quotes:
“I came into rehearsals a few weeks late — bad idea. It was tough catching up with everybody. Corbin, who’s just the most incredible natural dancer I’ve ever seen. I mean, Vanessa’s tough to keep up with, man,” Efron said.
“Well, actually, the shoes are comfortable,” Tisdale said. “We had ballroom shoes on and everyone was wearing heels and everybody was like, ‘Argh, my feet hurt,’ and I’m like, ‘Mine are great!’”
“We all pump ourselves up so much. Like, before the beginning of a take, you’ll see us all screaming, ‘Whooo! Hooo! Yeah!’ Like screaming! And we just get so pumped,” Hudgens said.
“But to come back to Utah and be with my friends, it’s just a dream come true. I called my mom and dad on the first day and was, like, ‘I feel like I’m on vacation.’ … We really are friends and it’s pretty fun,” Efron said.
