Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter are joining Tim Burtons’s new Disney movie, Alice In Wonderland, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The pair join the cast of Johnny Depp who is playing the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska is taking on the role of Alice.
The movie which is set for a March 2010 release will use live action and performance-capture technology, like in Beowulf.
Reporter describes Hathaway and Carter’s roles as the White Queen (Hathaway), a benevolent monarch who is deposed and banished by her sister, the Red Queen (Carter), who has an affinity for crying out, “Off with their heads!” The White Queen needs Alice to slay a creature known as the Bandersnatch.
Forget making millions from selling baby photos, Minnie Driver showed off her baby to her fans for free.
The 38-year-old actress who gave birth to a baby boy in September showed off the boy on her MySpage page.
UsWeekly reports that Driver still hasn’t revealed the identity of the baby’s father.

Charlize Theron is being sued for $20 million according to the DailyNews.
Apparently the 33-year-old actress signed but didn’t follow up with her endorsement contract with Swiss company Raymond Weil.
Raymond Weil claims the actress agreed to wear their watches 24/7 but she failed to do so, the actress tried to fight the case back in February but a judge has just decided it must go to trial.
Theron has been ordered to appear in Federal Court to fight the $20 million case nearing the end of October.
Cher has canceled shows at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas over the weekend after coming down with bronchitis.
Her publicist, Liz Rosenberg, says the singers illness is “Vegas throat” which is caused from the dry desert climate and the air conditioning used in Vegas’ hotels and casinos.
However, Norm Clarke, a Vegas celebrity columnist points out that Caesars had “spent millions of dollars installing a special humidifier in The Colosseum showroom, which was especially built for Celine Dion’s long-running show, to protect the Canadian singer’s delicate throat.” He also points out that Cher recently split from her Hell’s Angel boyfriend, Tim Medvetz.
In a statement, Caesars Palace, tells the DailyMail that the 62 year old singer “looks forward to her return to The Colosseum early next year with performances to be announced soon.”
Lynne Spears appeared at the Mothers of Preschoolers convention in Grapevine, Texas, over the weekend where she spoke to 4500 mothers as well as People Magazine.
Spears says that things are “really wonderful things are happening now, it looks like things are looking up again.”
The 53-year-old grandmother says that “I had a perfect little plan, but, you can’t control the peers, you can’t control society and you do the best you can.”
She finishes off saying “the seasons are changing and things are good this year, I am so happy where we are right now. I would like smooth sailing for my children.”
