Hayden Panettiere stopped by the MTV Studios in New York City on Tuesday (September 2) in New York City.
Hayden has been on the promotional rounds to promote the third season of Heroes.
The 19-year-old actress will be stopping by this years Fashion Rocks ceremony on Friday (September 5) at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Bilson on the election and young people voting: “Thank God! It’s very exciting. I’m really happy that there’s so much heat around this election, because there needs to be. Right now, we need a change. I campaigned for Kerry four years ago, and I supported Hillary.”
On Hilary Clinton: “Well, I definitely like that idea. I mean, there’s nothing more empowering than to know that I was alive to see the possibility of the first woman president. I think our country needs that femininity, you know? Still, I hope Obama wins.”
On whats next for her: “I’d love to do a musical. I’d love to do comedies…. I know what I want to do, but it’s just not as detailed as I’d probably like it to be.”
Just yesterday it was announced that Britney Spears would be opening the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, now it has been confirmed that Christina Aguilera will indeed be performing at this years awards show during a press conference at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, CA.
On the news the singer said she is excited and her 8-month-old baby Max will see her perform, “I’m very excited, this will be his first time watching me perform on television, but only for a little while because he’s not really allowed to watch television yet. I’ll make an exception for the VMAs.”
Host of this years show Russell Brand joked “That kid is going to grow up with a hell of an Oedipus complex!”
It has also been confirmed that Rihanna and T.I. will perform together, Katy Perry will cover Madonna’s classic song Like A Virgin and Pete Wentz will be involved with the show, “probably with his wife, who is pregnant” joked Brand.
As for seating arrangments, Ashlee Simpson will be close to Spears, it has been rumored Zac Efron and Chace Crawford will both sit next to Spears as well.

MAC’s spokeswoman Fergie was on hand to annouce 11 new grants fromt he M·A·C AIDS Fund (MAF) aimed at preventing the spread of HIV among young people who account for more than half of all new infections.
The $2.3 million M·A·C AIDS Fund’s Global Youth Prevention Initiative is being funded exclusively from sales of Fergie’s VIVA GLAM VI Special Edition Lipglass.
Fergie stopped by the Safe Space homless center in New York City on Wednesday (September 3) to spend time with some kids, the singer posed with fans while watching a short play they put on for her.
She said “Every 15 seconds someone between the ages of 15 and 24 is infected with HIV, and combating the spread of this disease has a lot to do with raising awareness, As a musician, I’m able to reach a wider audience about issues close to my heart, and through the VIVA GLAM campaign, I’ve been able to get this message across to youth around the world. I’m so gratified that my lipglass has raised funds to help prevent youth across the globe from contracting HIV.”

Tyra Banks was all smiles as she attended the launch party for Harper’s Bazaar’s September 2008 issue which features none other than Tyra herself.
Tyra doesn’t have reason to smile now that the ratings are in for Americas Next Top Model because the show suffered in the ratings on Wednesday night (September 3), the premiere of Cycle 11 was the lowest-rated in the network’s history.
The episode which had 3.5 million viewers, 1.7 preliminary adults 18-49 rating and a 5 share was down over 11% from February’s Cycle 10 premiere. It is also the lowest-ratings Top Model has seen since it premiered in 2003.
Although in Top Model’s fairness, CW didn’t do much to promote the show like they did with Gossip Girl and 90210, maybe they thought Top Model could bring in viewers by name alone?
Top Model also went up against the season premiere of Bones which got 3.3 rating/9 share in adults 18-49 and 9.7 million viewers, America’s Got Talent with 2.7/7 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewer and also Project Runway.

U2 have pushed back the release of their yet untitled upcoming album because they haven’t finished it yet.
Ont their official website, Bono writes “I thought a while back we might have the album wrapped by now, but why come up above ground now if there’s more priceless stuff to be found? We know we have to emerge soon but we also know that people don’t want another U2 album unless it is our best ever album. It has to be our most innovative, our most challenging… or what’s the point?”
He adds “early next year people will be able to start hearing what we’ve been doing. We want 2009 to be our year, so we’re going to start making an impression very early on.”
Rachel Bilson covers this week’s Page Six Magazines and the 27-year-old actress opens up about boyfriend Hayden Christensen as well as ex-boyfriend Adam Brody.
On being risky in her fashion style: “I think it’s cool to be on the worst-dressed list.If people aren’t accepting, that’s OK. Bring it on, I don’t care!”
